The question was whether Clinton could beat nobody.
As the only leading Democratic contender to keep her name on the ballot after Michigan officials moved their primary ahead of the opening date scheduled by the Democratic National Committee, Clinton was perfectly positioned. She had no serious opposition. She also had the strong support of top Michigan Democrats such as Governor Jennifer Granholm and U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow.
With most of the ballots counted, the New York senator was winning uninspiring 55 percent of the Democratic primary vote.

Fox News this morning said that *uckabee is leading in the S.C. polls. Is this true!?
Polls are varying, McCain was leading a little while ago.
FOX is 'Anybody-but-Fred'... and no one with half a brain is predicting the Republican winner in SC.
Underlying it all is that the Michigan ahyphena community has never really been all that hot for white candidates of any party except for perhaps former governor Milliken (RINO-Traverse City), and the 1st black president. But, even, "they time have passed."
Uncommitted trounced Duncan Hunter in the Michigan GOP race.
Yeah, that 17% of Republicans voting for “uncommitted” was a real downer. I hope they’re looking for a real conservative. By the fall maybe, just maybe, he’ll be our candidate.
“none of the above” at 45% doesn’t bode well for the hildebeast
FOX is the illegal immigrant lobby.
I think they were mostly Democrats who got confused.
FOX is 'Anybody-but-Fred'...That is so true, and so bizarre. Why do you think that is?
You may be right. But I know a lot of Republicans who are definitely in a funk, thanks to George W. Bush.
I was very disappointed that “Uncommitted” didn’t win a majority or plurality, just so I’d know that Hillary would lose that much more sleep.
Uncommited was the anti-Hillary black vote. Thanks to her efforts to portray Republicans as racists her “it took a DEMOCRAT president to make MLK relevant” came out sounding like,”it took a WHITE MAN to make him relevant” in the ears of many blacks—especially the whitey haters.
I believe you but Frankly I'm puzzled that so many people can be so brain dead. Bush isn't running again and what's done is done. His actions in the last year of his presidency have shown a return to more conservative principles in any case but we have to now look AHEAD. If they want to act like little children and sulk then they and us will get exactly what we deserve in November.
Unlike her rapist partner... Fat Ankles has no finesse with the power of the spoken word.
But Romney and McCain are running to the left of Bush. McCain opposed the wildly successful Bush tax cuts, remember? And Romney wants to give $20 billion of your money to Ford and GM - no need to build high-quality cars that don't handle like a Sherman tank (300M) when you can just get a check from Uncle Sugar.
Indeed, the founding of the GOP was based largely on the abolition of slavery—not to mention it took the Republicans in congress to pass civil rights legislation in the 60s-the Dems kept filibusting it.
To LBJ the whole thing was about getting votes.
“We’ll have the “N-word plural” voting Democratic for years after this!” the old Texas redneck was heard to say after the bills passed.
He was right and racist.
That said, Rasmussen is the only poll out since the debate, which is kinda strange. I think it was probably accurate, but Zogbys poll will surely bring Fred averages down. They're just trying to influence the outcome which hasn't worked yet. I hope to see some real polls soon.
