I used to have friends who lived in Long Beach in the 70s. Back then there were many areas which were fine to live in, but were starting to turn. I recall one girl’s moving because they found a dead body in a dumpster behind her apartment.
Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa has, basically, instructed the L.A. police not to interfere with Hispanic activities. When there was a Hispanic riot in the partk last fall, the police got into serious trouble for trying to break it up.
I thank my lucky stars I was able to move out of CA when I did and back to the relative safety of the Midwest.
I grew up in inner-city Milwaukee. It’s worse than one can possibly imagine today. Our old German, working class neighborhood is now Gangland territory.
Proof positive of what years of Socialism and Democrat elected officials can do to any of our fine cities!

Yep. Any of these crime-riddled cities are the result of Democrats “on purpose” and Republicans “in spite of.”

I agree Diana. We did nothing to stop it. We thought we did, but then our side sold us out. In the end, the result is the same, unless we put an end to it.

I just hope it happens in my lifetime and not my children's. To be more specific I hope it happens before my old, tired body gives out and I can't fight a counterinsurgency campaign with the young'uns.
