Our moonbat "marine" decided that he didn't like our cries of "Cut & Run", "Wimps", "Traitors", etc., when the moonbats were breaking down at 11:30AM.
He decided to hold a one person anti-troop demonstration of his own, with card board signs that drivers could hardly read. With the camo Marine flag and no other moonbats around, it almost looked like he supported our troops. But with the lack of honks directed towards him, I guess his 'signs' were just readable enough for cars to know that he is NO troop supporter. Neither is he a Marine as Legionnaire Glenn (USMC - Iwo Jima) says.
Back in Week 2, the moonbats tried to out last us (Narrative is after last pic). They were not successful then, and neither was this faux marine. For a supposed Marine, he sure didn't plan very well. He came late (BELOW) to the moonbats protest and then didn't have any gloves. His hands sure were red even before he tried to be the last one standing.
So the "regular" moonbats left to take their Fiber Sure and geritol while this guy stayed. Around noon, several of our side had to leave with several others leaving at staggered times. [Mrs] T left to start dinner (a hearty beef stew - with flour gravy). By 12:45PM, we were down to 3 of us, BMWcyle, VAFlagWaver and me. [Mrs] T returned about 1:15PM for about an hour but again had to leave.
Before [Mrs] T had to leave, a guy pulled up to the curb and handed us out his window some hot chocolate. He was duly thanked and I shook his hand in gratitude. The hot chocolate hit the spot but had us visiting Popeye's bathroom before the day was over.
A womyn, who I believe was the faux marine's wife, showed up around 12:30 with some McDonalds. A little after 2PM, the moonbat got some reinforcements, 3 younger adults. Looking like the three of us were going to be outnumbered we dug out the DC Chapter Rapid Transformation Force's Offensive Plan from August,2006. Before the plan could take effect, around 2:30PM, the three young adults left.
In the mean time, a man parked behind the building where the moonbats stand and walked around to the two moonbats. Our first thoughts were that he was their reinforcements but he didn't seem dressed for the cold, light jacket and pull over shirt. We soon saw that the guy was chewing out the faux marine. The moonbat marine stood their kind of dumb founded, not knowing how to take this guy's chewing out. I mean this guy was pissed. He pointed his finger at the faux marine and got into his face.
But soon Legionnaire Glenn once again showed up. Then around 3PM VictoryNY showed up. Our forces were up to 5 with more promising to be there in a while. The moonbats were down to 2.
VictoryNY got out her flag and started to wave it and shout cheers for our troops. Click HERE for VictoryNY's action video from Olney's November 03,2007 FReep.
So we now had 5 patriotic troop supporters to the two moonbats. By 3:30PM the faux marine was deserted by his companion. He also finally got a pair of gloves given to him by the womyn as she left. At least she came prepared. We kept getting honks and waves and VictoryNY continued her loud support of our troops, courtesy of Plea Deal.
About 3:45PM the faux marine CUT 'N RAN to BMWcyle's shouts of "traitor", "wimp" and "Cut 'n Run".
Again.
SIX hours, from the time we started to set up at 10AM until a little after 4PM when all the banners were down and packed away. Then off to the Olney Compound for [Mrs] T's beef stew.
Some pics of the faux marine before our cameras left the corner. I forgot to grab [Mrs] T's camera when she left. Pics in the AAR are by both iMacMan and [Mrs] T.
BELOW LEFT: Faux marine freezing his rear off. BELOW RIGHT: Taking a pic of us to show he was opposite us and that he was a fool to think he could out last our side.
BELOW LEFT: Faux marine calling in reinforcements. BELOW RIGHT: A reinforcement arrives.
Our group of patriots and troop supporters included Legionnaires Glenn (USMC - Iwo Jima), and Frank, (Army - Korea), Lurker Bill and his daughter, and BMWcyle, Cindy_True_Supporter, Fraxinus, iMacMan, Olney-Keith, VAFlagWaver, VictoryNY, [Mrs] Trooprally and my self.
That makes 13 of us.
BELOW TOP: Lurker Bill and me setting up our large banner. BELOW BOTTOM: Smaller blue banner looking good.
BELOW LEFT: Lurker Bill on Northwest corner with Olney-Keith and VAFlagWaver where he normally stands. BELOW RIGHT: Legionnaires Frank and Glenn with VAFlagWaver and Olney-Keith in back ground.
BELOW LEFT: L. Bill's daughter and VAFlagwaver. BELOW RIGHT: iMacMan, BMWcyle and Fraxinus before he went over to the southeast corner.
BELOW LEFT: Fraxinus and me heading over to the Southeast corner. Cindy_True_Supporter later joined us and I headed back to our main corner. BELOW RIGHT: Cindy_True_Supporter and Fraxinus on Southeast corner.
BELOW: Before I left for the Southeast corner, [Mrs] T didn't want me to go. Something about spreading out our numbers to much and having our main corner look thin. But I explained to [Mrs] T, Lurker Bill already left our main corner. I couldn't let him show me up. It's a macho thing.
BELOW LEFT: Lurker Bill's daughter and Cindy_True_Supporter. Lurker Bill's daughter was known to toss a few snow balls this morning. BELOW RIGHT: Olney-Keith holding down Lurker Bill's regular left flank position.
Last week iMacMan had some real great shots of supporters. Well this week he once again got some terrific shots. So enjoy another long list of his "most excellant" pics of passing cars, SUVs and trucks.
BELOW:And this trucker pulling his air horn the whole way as he passed us. I yelled to the moonbats that that one was for us, no you. They feebly yelled something back.

[Mr] & [Mrs] T
CindyTrueSupporter called me last Friday around 2:00pm (I think) and we talked for around 20 minutes before she mentions to me that she was still at the corner. “STILL AT THE CORNER?”, I said. Unbelievable! Great report, BTW! Very funny!
Friday??? you say. Is CTS clairvoyant??
[Mr] T

Y’all are an inspiration to all the rest of us!
Keep up the great work!
What an event!
You are all wonderful!
I don’t know........you guys are having way too much fun. (thanks for being there)
Forgot to put in the AAR, it had to be demoralizing to the moonbat when one of us left to visited Popeye’s, only to come back a few minutes later. The moonbat was probably thinking that we were slowly losing our FReeper support.
[Mr] T
LOL!!!
