Fred Thompson just dropped out, according to Rush Limbaugh a minute ago. It’s official. Fred is out of the race.
Now without Duncan and FRed, there are no conservatives in the race..

Fred Thompson has withdrawn from the race, gbunch. You need a new candidate. It’s official, he’s out. It’s all over the TV right now.
You are taking a lot for granted in your questions. Just because Romney’s a Mormon doesn’t mean that he tells the truth.
So we might get stuck with a guy who is:
* for tax cuts
* for cutting spending
* for charter schools
* for reversal of Roe v. Wade
* for continuing the attack on terrorism
* for judicial restraint.

The Romney-haters are in arms because Romney did what he said he would for Massachusetts, protecting gay rights, abortion rights, etc.
And because Romney keeps his word, they are afraid they will BREAK IT in changing to conservative positions today.
