Very sad. An excellent actor who will be seen in “The Dark Night” as the Joker this summer.

The false tact of "who is he?", "he doesn't matter", and "I'm above knowing anyone current" is dismissive and disrespectful.

Who the #@$* cares about his political affiliation? The man is dead, and politics gets thrown out the window. People should be respectful no matter what.

“It’s unbelievable. Instead of respect for the dead and prayers for his young daughter and family...”

In all seriousness, are you really surprised at some of these responses given the tone of this place as of late?

Yeah, I would withdraw any negative comment at all. I was upset about something else at the time.

Todd Schnitt just said on his talk show that a friend of Heath's gave a statement saying he was shocked at the death, but not at all surprised.

Looks like this guy had an obvious monkey on his back that he couldn't shake off.

Hope they investigate the doctor who was writing all those "prescriptions" to see if everything is kopacetic.

In show biz especially, you can obtain ANYTHING you want that is forbidden, illegal, evil or dangerous if you can pay for it......and there's always plenty of shadowy figures around to provide what you want.

The daughter was by the actress who played his wife in Brokeback Mountain. It really was life imitating art as his character Ennis had two daughters by Alma, Williams’ character.

We don’t know that it was a suicide yet. Maybe you should withhold these kinds of comments until we have the whole story.

I truly am sorry, but it confounds the mind that someone with so much potential who should have no trouble leading a happy life would choose to kill himself.
