Wow amazing. I was watching Fox News last night the Geraldo Rivera show. He had panelists on and they were all speaking as
if its a forgone conclusion McCain will get the nomination and will
the “hard right” come to support him in November.

The the Washington establishment, of which Fox News is a part, are trying HARD to sell that BS but I'm not buying!

What ARE they so afraid of? That someone might actually come to town and turn it inside out? Could THAT be it?

Hellloooo! Hello! Anyone out there listening to the MSM?

THEY want McCain to be the nominee, and it ain't because they really love him, although I guess they Do love him better than most Repubs. cause he is such a high % Democrat.

All the people here at FR that are dissing Romney's liberalism, flipflopping, etc. need to take a ratiional look at what the media is pushing. They don't think McCain can beat Hillary. They KNOW that in a showdown, they have plenty of ammunitiion to use against McCain to knock him out of the conservative vote. All they really have on Mitt is his Mormonism and scare tactics on abortion.

Why do some here keep insisting ONLY McCain can beat the Dem. Ain't gonna happen.

Our best shot (Fred) is gone. The media won that one. If Repubs. sit around contemplating their navels and come up with McAmnesty, it's all over.

I was actually polled, got a call yesterday. among the questions was my preference if the general was held today. the two scenarios presented were Clinton v. Rudy and Clinton v. McCain. no mention of Mitt, Hucky, or Obama-the-amazing empty suit.

Maybe this result shows that deliberate and nasty distortion of the truth was not effective. Those who like to jab at Governor Romney as “myth” need to consider the myth being propagated that McCain can most effectively win the general election. The truth that will be exposed about him will be more damaging than the truth that was exposed about John Kerry.

(Geraldo) had panelists on ... speaking as if its a forgone conclusion McCain will get the nomination ...

TV pundits and other top tier media wonks have been obsessed with McCain for 20 years ..... it's McCain this, McCain that.....

So when a REAL outsider like Mitt Romney comes along, they don't even recognize the possibility that he's viable.

Just more "beltway mentality" from pundits who see things through Washington DC-colored glasses.

Rivera has officially endorsed McCain. Shiver. You think he’s actually going to bring on panelists who will undermine him? Those would be the actions of a serious journalist.
