He said, youre going to have to kill me. Im coming in.
#1 on list of “Things NOT to say when beaking & entering”.
Go out on the Chesapeake and reel in a 3 foot Bluefish.
If you don’t have a gun, you’ll soon wish you did.
Make that ‘bReaking”.
Sheesh.
You can be a hero or a zero. Choose ye this day!
Yep - gotta rotate that old ammo.
WTG! Mr. Taylor!
He should put up a sign saying:
Intruders Will Be Shot! Survivors Will Be Shot Again!
lol
Smokey is way cool.
This really pisses me off! Why didn’t the group pass a collection plate to buy this hero a new .357 or .45 and a couple boxes of frangible defense ammo?!?!
Kudos to another brave veteran!
Book ‘m Dano, and recycle his Ammo!!
Outstanding Story :-)
“Great story. Everyone knows that a .22 only serves to aggravate the delicate psychological balance of a situation. A .45, however, is single-session therapy.

A .22 LR will work, if you hit the assailant in the eye socket. However, that is a very difficult shot, especially under the stress of a combat situation.
A 9mm, a .40 S&W, .45 ACP, .357 Sig, will generally smash through to disrupt the central nervous system, effecting a permanent cure to violent criminal tendencies.
In revolvers, a .357 Mag, .41 Mag, or a .44 Mag will effect the same cure. I will grant the .44 is getting a bit heavy in recoil for rapid fire control, and there is a bit of a problem with over penetration.
I’d say that a .22 mag should bag that rag.
“Sure but we silly pilots were given a crappy 9mm and taught to shoot center-of-mass because of lack of penetration.”
Actually, standard combat training teaches to shoot for the center of mass, because it is a much better aiming point to achieve a solid body hit. If the round hits along the centerline, it may also smash the spine, which will end the fight.
However, there is a problem, if an assailant is wearing body armor. That is the reason for the Mozambique tactic.
I bet your right.
We punch holes through plywood regulary at 50 yards with .22 LR.
After this happened I stopped in to buy some stuff and congratulate him. I think a lot of other folks did too.
I wouldn't call it a middle class neighborhood though. If I called it "transitional" I would be being extra nice. It's right across the street from a decaying mall that has seen LOTS better days, surrounded by two-bit stores and vacant rental houses. Dog class is in a warehouse and people keep breaking in.
FRiend, that’s not a weapon, that’s a PROPULSION system...
Next time you’re in there, tell him he’s got lots of fans all across America. I’m his #1.
Hooah!
Thanks for the ping!
