The biggest problem with McCain is that he is a follower. He has always taken orders from someone else. He’s a good little boy and does what he’s told......especially by those with the money.
Mitt Romney on the other hand is an inovator. He is a born leader and is capable of making decisions on his own. If he were elected, this poses a big problem for the money people. Romney will not be their puppet.
The average Georgian would rather vote for Sherman than that LIBERAL YANKEE.
I’ve been tryin’ to find out if State Sen. Chip Rogers (who should be on the above list of Gerogians backing Romney) is now backing Romney. Rogers had been a chair person for Fred T...
It’s looking pretty clear now that the Romney organization is going to peel a lot of delegates from Georgia. The McCain people are not fighting effectively district by district.
The California poll out is powerful too.
Huckabee lacking money and organization skill is relentlessly grinding him under. He will do one of those bizarre “not running but running” where he has no money and buys no media and just funds personal travel a few places to show his face.

Not this average Georgian.
Cheers.
Start practicing...”Madam President”...
Four Georgia congressmen who support Romney held a conference call on Saturday, in which they dismissed the endorsement of McCain by Isakson and Chambliss as an example of Senate clubiness.
The Senates a universe of 100 people. They almost seem to be removed from their constituents. I dont know if they sprinkle them with some sort of dust or whatever, said U.S. Rep. Lynn Westmoreland of Coweta County.
And most of the comments on there seem to agree.
I hope you are right. You probably are. By the way, the poster, and everything else about Romney says “class.”
I expect Huckabee to be a presence too. There is a lot of identity politics. A lot of southern Christians will probably vote for Huckabee for that reason.
I suspect a different scenario Tuesday in GA and elsewhere. While Evangelicals were clearly in Huckabee’s camp, they all know now he can’t win. So the ones who simply hate Romney and know their man (Huckabee) has no chance will continue to come out for Huckabee. But a large portion of Huckabee voters will soon begin peeling off, some for McCain, some for Romney because of the inevitable. The battle as I see it is going to be over those leaving Huckabee, not his core supporters. It COULD mean the difference between Romney winning and losing...
You used the word "Yankee" as a pejorative.
In my book, liberals are liberals and conservatives are conservative. A Stinking Jimma Carter liberal from Georgia is no better or no worse than a stinking Ted Kennedy, "Yankee" liberal.
About Mitt, he has run a fairly good across-the-board conservative campaign.
Whether you or I trust him based on both accurate and inaccurate past liberal transgressions is a personal call we have to make.
You apparently don't. Myself, as somebody who doesn't trust any politician will take the chance given his conservative campaign and given the lack of a better choices, when I cast my vote on Tuesday.

Thankfully the average Georgia Republican is above the average Georgian. The average Georgian gave us Cynthia McKinney. Thank you, very much, average Georgians.
If he fails this year this election cycle will have been good experience for Romney. I don’t think it’s a stretch to say he would be a leading candidate for the GOP nomination in 2012.
CA will really tell us a lot of things.
For one, Huckabee is really not a factor in CA. It really is for all intents and purposes a two man race between Romney and McCain. Romney supporters have argued that he would beat McCain in a 2 man race, well, Romney gets his chance to prove it in CA.
If Romney wins CA, it will not just boost his campaign, it would create further add credibility to his call for Huckabee to drop out, and also solidify the claim that “a vote for Huckabee is a vote for McCain” in the minds of voters who are deciding in all the states after Super Tuesday.
If Romney loses CA, then Romney’s claim that he would beat McCain but for Huckabee would ring hollow.

Says a man holed up in New York City. Nice try, bucko. You really tried to pull off that junk sitting in the heart of Yankeeville?? haha. Classic.
I hate YANKEES.
They don't get any more YANKEE than MYTH.
