JERUSALEM Dr. Baruch Mandeltzwieg knelt down and ripped open the jacket of a critically wounded man from Monday's homicide bombing in Dimona to begin emergency treatment. But instead of finding gushing blood, he was struck by another sight an explosive belt.
The wounded man turned out to be a would-be suicide bomber who was knocked out by the force of the initial blast before he was able to detonate his own explosive belt.
"His head was moving. He was a patient who could be treated," Mandeltzwieg told Israel's Army radio. "We started to treat him and then we saw an explosive belt ... I managed to see a small gas canister and small plastic bags attached to his body."

Warning! This is a high-volume ping list.
Wow!!!! And also scary.
I saw the film on the news last night. Terrorist scum.
Wow!!!! And also scary.Cop shot him. No boom no foul.
Did they do that with this patient? If not, why not?

Though I’m not a big fan of Fox News, I do have to commend them for their continued use of the term, “homicide bombing.”
Should have taken him out back to a secluded area and finished him.
Good lord, now they're specifically targeting those who try to help their victims. And Democrats will still say they have a right!
Rushing to judgment. Perhaps he had a perfectly good reason for wearing an explosive belts. If this were in the US, I would smell a major lawsuit against the police.
It was first thought he was injured from the blast. When it was discovered he was wearing the belt the area was cleared. He attempted to detonate the belt and was shot 5 or 6 times by a police officer.
Now, they have a belt to determine, how it is manufactured, the type of explosives, and all of that can be traced.
The family will most likely have their house bulldozed to the ground.

Now Christopher Hitchens has an actual rather than fabricated example of a Jew not helping a dying non-Jew.
The family will most likely have their house bulldozed to the ground. Not necessarily. That only works in the West Bank. Gaza is a nest of warrens that Israel is loathe to go into. Now dropping a bomb....
You’re attempting to equate a “homicide bomb belt” to a concealed carry weapon????
I like a happy ending.
Personally I thought it was a good idea when the house was used to facilitate a terrorist attack, but Israel stopped that a few years ago.
Actually this group is thought to have come from Gaza, via Egypt. Who knows how many others infiltrated over the Egypt-Israel border after exiting Gaza. A prime example of why a Gaza-West Bank corridor as demanded by the administration would aid the terrorists. Not that there's any reason for Israel to be ceding part of Israel to the palestinians to begin with. They can trade with Egypt and Jordan.
Some people require sarcasm tags, others don’t.

You are correct. According to the CAIR, in palestine, hunters often use explosive vests for deer hunting. You find a local village idiot, strap him with a bomb vest and put him in a field. When a deer walks by, the idiot jump up and sets off the bomb. The spray of ball bearings and nails can produce a good tight pattern that humanely kills the deer and guts it without destroying much meat. The Iraelis overreacted as usual.
Some people need to read when other people ask a question.
