Everyone cries (rightly so) when Giuliani endorses McCain, with the only choices of him or Huck, but then when Fred does you make excuses. Can’t have it both ways.

Giuliani dropped out and endorsed McCain right before Super Tuesday, when the race was still somewhat open.

Your right, This thread is sad.
It has a DU kind of feel to it, all emotional and childish.

No vote for the gop candidate is the same as voting for Hillary or Obama. Even the worst republican RINO is better for the survival of our constitution than any dem dead or alive. If you don’t vote then you might as well put the Elect Hillary bumper sticker on your vehicle.

This is why I love FR. I get to vent without having to shoot anyone :-)(that's a joke, please don't send the authorities here, I mean it figuratively not literally). Let me explain something to you. Nobody here gives a shit if the liberal has an R next to their name, or a D next to their name or any other letter in the alphabet. This is a CONSERVATIVE website, not a REPUBLICAN website. The two are mutually exclusive.

IOW, your threat of Hillary doesn't scare me. I live in the Democratic People's Republic of NJ! I've seen Socialism and survived. Nothing scares me. Certainly not a Marxist in a pantsuit. Come up with something better than a threat of being beaten over the head with a Giant Douche

The older I get, I’m just grateful I’m getting older. I’m wondering if ‘wiser’ might be out of my grasp.

I think you've already achieved the 'wiser' - it came with the "the older I get, I'm..." part!

Besides, considering the alternative, it's great to be 'getting older"

Well, you see, he’s still the best man for the job.

Just think how revolutionary it would be if folks first of all had a chance to actually compare and see, and secondly made their decisions on such a basis, rather than acting like sheep to be slaughtered by the hacks in the media and the party.

That’s all you can do is figure it out and vote for whomever you want.

It won’t even be interesting watching the primaries in the remaining states since the nominee is all but chosen already. I think turnout might be really low since many won’t think their vote will matter til November.

As a recent Fredhead, here is my response:

The last month of the primaries I feel as if someone slipped me a pile of mushrooms and I have been trippin' ever since. God if only this was a nightmare or bad trip to wake up from.

I hate to say it but we are going to have to vote for McCain whether we like it or not the alternate is even worse and I knew it was going to come to this--the best of the worst. I was going to sit this one out without question, however the truth is clear it is either McCain or Hillary or Obama. Must be McCain. I am very sad to say it but the alternative is really insane.

Did the GOP force them out or promise them something good?????

Nah. The party doesn't have the muscle. And nobody with any experience in politics would trust an RNC promise.

Drinking Coffee  "Does that mean Fred is another of the growing list of faux-conservative liberals who support McCain?"

Ah come on now.  I've made it all the way to post# 178 and nobody's called him a RINO yet.  You're so close... page the system admin and have him change faux-conservative-liberals to RINO.  That way I don't have to read this entire thread. :-)

On this thread I’ve posted a tiny fraction of the knives McCain has stuck in the backs of conservatives. And it’s like they’re practically invisible.

~~~
You’re preaching to the choir, fergodssakes.
The invisibility of posts is likely due to the peskiness of the poster.
No.
But this thread shows there's a lot of faux-adults who post on FR
More conspiratorial nonsense. The delegate facts stand . I resist the assertion the Mitt was the true “Conservative oppostion” in this race. That is reason he failed , he is no Conservative .
Like it or not , McPain has a more Conservative record than Romney .
We voted on Tuesday and it was down to 3 mainly. And I knew my vote wouldn’t mean a thing.
I really think the primaries should be held on the same day or something. Many states haven’t even voted and the choice is pretty much made for them. I think turnout will be low too, for the republicans. I think it’s going to be high for the dems given what we’ve seen so far.
I agree. Crist and Giuliani will
be in the admin, IF McCain makes it
as (horrors) president. But then,
I wonder how Rudy would part with
all those global security contract
dollaars.
