The Influence of Socialism on the Democratic Party.
Democratic Socialists Of America ^ | 2/10/08 | Datura

Posted on 02/10/2008 9:44:05 AM PST by datura

Once again with the election cycle, it's time to remind everyone of just what our "progressive" DemonRats really stand for. The Democratic Socialists of America are indeed the US branch of the Socialist International Party, which is in turn a chapter of the World Communist Party.

I have posted the link to their web site - and cordially suggest that if you have the time, please go there and actually read the drivel posted there. Yes, you will need a large lawn leaf sized barf bag to get through it.

The scary part is that they have over 70 members sitting in the US Congress RIGHT NOW. And the voting masses have NO idea of this affiliation, or what the goals of this organization are: To implement socialism as an interim measure on the road to full communism.

So while we are mobilizing against the threat of Hillary, Obama, and yes, Mc Cain, there is a deeper and more persistent threat - the same one we've been fighting for over 60 years. Communism is like rust. It never sleeps.

Let us not forget the infiltration of the islamic terrorist synpathizers as well. You are correct, we are worried about Hill, O and Mcranky but there are more ominous problems from within. Some of these idiot congressmen and senators don’t care who they deal with. America for sale! One morning we will wake up to a country we do not know or belong! Keep sleeping America! They shut us up by screaming racism, and bigotry. And what do we do? We back down instead of standing our ground and protecting what we have left.

What's ironic is that there is one thing they say (and only one, as far as I can see) that is true. In the PDF "Ideology and Oil Power the War," the author states:

Iraq was to be rebuilt as a new democratic outpost that would alter the regional political alliances and usher in a new period of peace and stability in the Middle East.

Well, it's half-right, anyway. It was actually intended to DE-stabilize the region, because what that region considers "stability" is a three-way standoff that resembles a fire triangle. Pan-Arab Socialism, traditional monarchies, and Islamic fundamentalists are the heat, oxygen, and fuel that feed off each other in a struggle that constantly shifts, in which two are united against the other, but never breaks up the fire triangle. That's "stability" (in that it has been going on for nearly a century.)

But it's remarkable that they at least recognize the intent: a new democratic outpost that would alter the regional alliances. We are not there to take territory, to steal the oil, to avenge Bush Sr, to please Israel, to distract people from the invisible planet that will cause worldwide chaos coinciding with the end of the Mayan calender, to wipe out Islam, to conceal the involvement of the evil Illuminati who are planning to ... do whatever evil Illuminati do.

We are there to change the face of the Middle East, because it needs changing, desperately. If only they really understood the implications of what they just glossed over.

Your list is very discouraging.

BUT,,,WE STILL HAVE TIME! We do have the freedom of talk radio the internet.

There is one more thing that Conservatives ( Christians and non-Christians ) could do that might turn this nation around. If Marxists can use the schools then conservatives should use the same tactic: SCHOOLS!

First of all, conservatives can reach young people, but they should give up the dithering with trying to reform government schools! GIVE IT UP!

The plan:

1) Private scholarship foundations for vouchers to private schools that uphold constitutional, free market, and Judeo Christian principles. If universities can have endowments in the BILLIONS then Conservatives should do the same for K-12 education!

2) Organize a MASSIVE school tax revolt with the goal to shut down every Marxist madrass in this nation. ( mis-named “government schools”)

There is still time....but Conservatives must act NOW!

If we don’t act NOW, we are looking at a 1,000 year Dark Age, and Christians will be living in catacombs.

Hillarycare is definitely socialism, despite what the media claims. Under Hillarycare, the government controls the means of production. Control and ownership amount to the same thing. The fundamental property right associated with property ownership is the right to control it. If you don’t have control, you really don’t have ownership. You can’t have capitalism or free enterprise if the government is in control.

I thought it might be informative to post some of the platform planks of the Nazis here to remind everyone of their spiritual successors. I left out the planks that smacked of racism, or that wanted all foreigners removed, since those obviously aren't part of the modern Democrats' thinking. Plus I didn't want to muddy the waters by adding in non-pertinent ideas.

You'll recognize some of these ideas word for word, and REMEMBER - this is from the Nazi Party, quoted on Wikipedia. This isn't just disgruntled old Hardastarboard calling the Democrats Nazis (even though it is appropriate except for the more bizarre parts of the Nazi race theories).

In consideration of the monstrous sacrifice in property and blood that each war demands of the people personal enrichment through a war must be designated as a crime against the people. Therefore we demand the total confiscation of all war profits.

We demand the nationalisation of all (previous) associated industries (trusts).

We demand a division of profits of all heavy industries.

We demand an expansion on a large scale of old age welfare.

We demand the creation of a healthy middle class and its conservation, immediate communalization of the great warehouses and their being leased at low cost to small firms, the utmost consideration of all small firms in contracts with the State, county or municipality.

We demand a land reform suitable to our needs, provision of a law for the free expropriation of land for the purposes of public utility, abolition of taxes on land and prevention of all speculation in land.

We demand struggle without consideration against those whose activity is injurious to the general interest. Common national criminals, usurers, Schieber and so forth are to be punished with death, without consideration of confession or race.

The state is to be responsible for a fundamental reconstruction of our whole national education program, to enable every capable and industrious German to obtain higher education and subsequently introduction into leading positions. The plans of instruction of all educational institutions are to conform with the experiences of practical life. The comprehension of the concept of the State must be striven for by the school [Staatsbuergerkunde] as early as the beginning of understanding.

We demand the education at the expense of the State of outstanding intellectually gifted children of poor parents without consideration of position or profession.

The State is to care for the elevating national health by protecting the mother and child, by outlawing child-labor, by the encouragement of physical fitness, by means of the legal establishment of a gymnastic and sport obligation, by the utmost support of all organizations concerned with the physical instruction of the young.

We demand abolition of the mercenary troops and formation of a national army.

This one is clearly not like our liberals today, but I left it in anyway.

For the execution of all of this we demand the formation of a strong central power in the Reich. Unlimited authority of the central parliament over the whole Reich and its organizations in general. The forming of state and profession chambers for the execution of the laws made by the Reich within the various states of the confederation. The leaders of the Party promise, if necessary by sacrificing their own lives, to support by the execution of the points set forth above without consideration.

What's amazing about your list is how many of those goals were implemented with the help of "Conservative" Republican administrations who just wanted to appear "bipartisan" and not "mean".

Like the current one.

Go take a close look at this website folks.. its a very telling document.. KNOW THY ENEMY..

I downloaded and examined their powerpoint slide show.. under it.. Pillar #1 is Public Revenue which has taxes on the rich, Restoring public funding of government to PRE-REAGAN Levels!

Bottom Line at the bottom was... Make Wealth Less Profitable

If that is not a reason for Freepers and others to fight the socialistic progressive movement.. I do not know what is..

If there's a silver lining, it's that they printed only 7,750 copies their leftist drivel. The number is surprisingly small for a nation of 300 million people and the apparent huge influence of leftists on the Dem party and Congress.

One thing else that people need to be reminded of: The democrats would institute socialism in this country when they can successfully wield enough powre in both houses.

We've been a socialist nation (National socialists) for near 20 years -- the processing even beginning near 40 - 50 years ago.

And another thing, the RINOs in the GOP have been assisting them for quite some time as well, all in the name of civility, bi-partisanship, reaching across.

This is an old list but, you get the idea.

John Conyers, Ranking Member of the House Judicial Committee, David Bonior, the pit-bull-dog who successfully whipped Newt, Maxine Waters, the President's outspoken defender in the impeachment debates, and nearly 60 other Representatives, socialism is advancing in America behind the "Progressive" label. Here are a few excerpts taken directly from the web page of the Democratic Socialists of America. (Italicized emphasis provided)

"The Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) is the largest socialist organization in the United States, and the principal U.S. affiliate of the Socialist International. DSA's members are building progressive movements for social change while establishing an openly socialist presence in American communities and politics.

"At the root of our socialism is a profound commitment to democracy, as means and end. We are activists committed not only to extending political democracy but to demanding democratic empowerment in the economy, in gender relations, and in culture. Democracy is not simply one of our political values but our means of restructuring society. Our vision is of a society in which people have a real voice in the choices and relationships that affect the entirety of our lives. We call this vision democratic socialism - a vision of a more free, democratic and humane society.

Here is what "Liberty" looks like to a socialist:

"A democratic commitment to a vibrant pluralist life assumes the need for a democratic, responsive, and representative government to regulate the market, protect the environment, and ensure a basic level of equality and equity for each citizen. In the 21st century, such regulation will increasingly occur through international, multilateral action. But while a democratic state can protect individuals from domination by inordinately powerful, undemocratic transnational corporations, people develop the social bonds that render life meaningful only through cooperative, voluntary relationships. Promoting such bonds is the responsibility of socialists and the government alike.

"The social welfare programs of government have been for the most part positive, if partial, responses to the genuine social needs of the great majority of Americans. The dismantling of such programs by conservative and corporate elites in the absence of any alternatives will be disastrous. Abandoning schools, health care, and housing, for example, to the control of an unregulated free market magnifies the existing harsh realities of inequality and injustice."

The action agenda posted on the socialists' web site very closely parallels Agenda 21, and the recommendations of the President's Council on Sustainable Development. The web site boasts the creation of the "Progressive Caucus" in Congress, as well as the coalition that is working to promote the socialist agenda in Congress.
