II Thessalonians 3:3

But the Lord is faithful,
who shall stablish you,
and keep you from evil.

TOPICS: Culture/Society; Miscellaneous
KEYWORDS: pray; presidentbush; troops; victory
Holy Father,

We exalt You, our God, and we praise You because Your love reaches to the heavens and Your faithfulness to the skies. You have granted us eternal blessings and have made us glad with the joy of Your presence. All honor and praise be to You, the blessed and only Ruler, the King of kings and Lord of lords. We acknowledge that we have been placed on this earth to bear fruit and to glorify You and Your Kingdom. We confess that You enable us to abide in Your strength, to be rooted and grounded in Your truth, and to move ever closer to comprehending the length, the depth, the breadth, and the height of Your love. Father, help us to live lives that share the passion, the truth, and the love of Jesus Christ with everyone You bring into our lives.

Gracious Lord, we know that our President hungers and thirsts for You. Help him to walk as a man who is completely confident in the faithful providence of His Creator. We ask that You would place Your desires in his heart; that the words he speaks, and the actions he takes may be pleasing to You and may unite the people of this nation. Fill him with Your thoughts, Father, as he contemplates how to help America withstand the constant threats from those whose god is destruction. We are confident that Your hand leads him, and that Your right hand holds him close. Make him to dwell in the secret place---in the shadow of Your wings---and may he know that You, our omnipotent Father, never leave nor forsake Your children.

We pray that You would heal the physical and psychological wounds of all our brave patriots who have suffered and sacrificed for the cause of freedom. May our faithful troops be protected by Your mighty shield and may they never want for any good thing. Instruct them and teach them during this time apart from their families so that they may move into a closer relationship with You.

Father, You have called us to be salt and light, to lay up treasures in heaven and to abandon worldliness. Place in our hearts the vision You have for our lives, that we may no longer see in darkness but in the light of Your truth. Bless all the prayers spoken here today, Father, and bestow special joy in the hearts of those who pause here to pray. May every prayer be pleasing to You and bring glory and honor to You alone; for only You are worthy of all honor, glory, praise, and blessing. We offer these petitions in faith in the Name of our Savior, Jesus Christ, whose absolute Resurrection we confidently proclaim. Amen.

AMEN SISTER AND GRACE TO ALL CHRISTIAN PATRIOTS!

“There is therefore now no condemnation.”
- Romans 8:1

Come, my soul, think thou of this. Believing in Jesus, thou art actually
and effectually cleared from guilt; thou art led out of thy prison. Thou
art no more in fetters as a bond-slave; thou art delivered now from the
bondage of the law; thou art freed from sin, and canst walk at large as a
freeman, thy Saviour’s blood has procured thy full discharge. Thou hast a
right now to approach thy Father’s throne. No flames of vengeance are
there to scare thee now; no fiery sword; justice cannot smite the
innocent. Thy disabilities are taken away: thou wast once unable to see
thy Father’s face: thou canst see it now. Thou couldst not speak with him:
but now thou hast access with boldness. Once there was a fear of hell upon
thee; but thou hast no fear of it now, for how can there be punishment for
the guiltless? He who believeth is not condemned, and cannot be punished.
And more than all, the privileges thou mightst have enjoyed, if thou hadst
never sinned, are thine now that thou art justified.
All the blessings which thou wouldst have had if thou hadst kept the law,
and more, are thine, because Christ has kept it for thee.
All the love and the acceptance which perfect obedience could have
obtained of God, belong to thee, because Christ was perfectly obedient on
thy behalf, and hath imputed all his merits to thy account, that thou
mightst be exceeding rich through him, who for thy sake became exceeding
poor.
Oh! how great the debt of love and gratitude thou owest to thy Saviour!

“A debtor to mercy alone,
Of covenant mercy I sing;
Nor fear with thy righteousness on,
My person and offerings to bring:
The terrors of law and of God,
With me can have nothing to do;
My Saviour’s obedience and blood
Hide all my transgressions from view.”

C.H.SPURGEON

SOLI DEO GLORIA!

When was I born, Lord?
When was I reborn?
It must have a Sunday
A fine Sunday morn

I gave You my heart
You gave me peace
My heart was troubled
But, all of that ceased

Oh, sure, there’ve been trials
Yes, there has been pain
But, You’re there beside me
To wash away stains

I’ve been a sinner
All of my life
You gave me courage
To battle my strife

I’ve overcome weakness
One day at a time
You’re always there guiding
Even when I’ve been blind

Thank You for giving
Your endless love
Thank You for caring
For one undeserved.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, He gave His only begotten son, that whoever believes in Him, shall have everlasting life. Amen.

Fresh

READ: Psalm 51:8-13

Restore to me the joy of Your salvation. —Psalm 51:12

What do you think of when you hear the word fresh? When the weather is nice, my husband and I enjoy going to the farmers market so we can buy produce that was picked that very morning. To me, fresh means just-harvested fruits and vegetables—not stale or spoiled, but crisp and full of exquisite flavor.

I need that kind of freshness in my relationship with God. I can have too many stale attitudes—impatience, criticism, and selfishness—and not enough “longsuffering, kindness, . . . gentleness,” which are “the fruit of the Spirit” (Gal. 5:22-23).

As David repented of the sin in his life, he prayed, “Create in me a clean heart.” Then he petitioned God: “Restore to me the joy of Your salvation” (Ps. 51:10-12). Confession and repentance of our sin renews our fellowship with the Lord and allows us to joyously begin anew.

What better time than today to ask God to give you a newness of spirit, a freshness of faith, and a renewed appreciation of Him!

Lord, we want the fruit of our lives to always be “fresh and flourishing” (Ps. 92:14). Help us to experience Your love, compassion, and faithfulness that are “new every morning” (Lam. 3:22-23). Amen.

The Master is seeking a harvest
In lives He’s redeemed by His blood;
He seeks for the fruit of the Spirit,
And works that will glorify God.  —Lehman

To bear good fruit, clear out the weeds of sin.
