Global Poverty Act
Glen Beck CNN Show ^ | 14 FEB 2008 | Glen Beck/Cliff Kincaid

Posted on 02/15/2008 7:05:01 AM PST by radar101

This act which just passed through the Senate Foreign Relations Committee yesterday would commit the next president of the United States -- oh, my gosh, that may be Obama, what a coincidence. It would commit him to working towards the worldwide poverty goals set by the United Nations millennium declaration.

These goals may cost America an estimated $845 billion, while making us subservient to a whole array of U.N. treaties and resolutions like the Kyoto Protocol.

CLIFF KINCAID, ACCURACY IN MEDIA: That`s right. I found out about it a couple of days ago when it was really secretly put on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee agenda. It was sprung on the House last September, brought up for a voice vote. It passed.

KINCAID: And the Bush administration agreed to it. The Barack Obama bill basically, without mentioning the .7 percent, or the necessity of a global tax, commits the United States to carrying out this objective, meeting its own "millennium goal." And...

KINCAID: Right. This commits us to spend the money as dictated by the U.N., .7 percent, according to Jeffrey Sachs, who ran the U.N. Millennium Project. It means the United States has been short by $65 billion a year on what is called official development assistance.

BECK: OK. But it also -- it also puts us in line for Kyoto, it also puts us in line for what is also part of this U.N., you know, millennium agreement, of banning all small arms.

Plus, they have a so-called millennium declaration. That actually came out in 2000, which not only commits us to the more foreign aid spending, but calls on countries to implement Kyoto, a ban on small weapons, the children`s rights treaty, the women`s rights treaty. .

Exactly. Only fools believe that global poverty is caused by a simple lack of money. You need not be a genius to see that the real causes are inconvenient realities such as the fact that crooks run a lot of third world countries.

They have been selling us down the river as slaves for decades.

Now, they are doing it more openly and more seriously horribly.

They deserve every torture hell has reserved for them.

"If you look at the co-sponsors one of them is Sen. Richard Lugar (R). I think a conservative should run against this Senator."

But Lugar is a "conservative," dontcha know? Unfortunately, he's a BIG TIME GLOBALIST as well. Hagel voted for this in committee too. Can't remember who else. Heard it this morning on radio. They are trying to hustle it to the floor maybe to slip it in with a voice vote like they did in the House. That way, no one can be blamed for selling out our sovereignty. Of course, we may well be past the point that any of these pos we have elected give a rat's rearend what we think.

STOP THINKING RIGHT VS. LEFT AND START THINKING ELITES VS. US. There are way more conservative elites than patriots that we've elected to our Senate.

"...why all Republicans in open primaries must get to the polls, hold their noses, and vote for Hillary Rodham Clinton on March 4th."

A total waste. Clinton, Obama, and McCain are ALL tools of the Globalists. It doesn't make any difference who you vote for. The results will be identical.

The whole blasted Senate has been co-opted by the socialists/globalists/communists for a very long time. I just hadn’t realized how thoroughly.

Lugar . . . he ought to have known better long ago. What a traitorous disappointment.

LOL.

I’m not usually accused of being subtle.

. . . though have been on occasion, believe it or not . . .

I just felt your point was inherently screamingly true and deserved much more highlighting. LOL.

Hope you don’t mind too much.

I’d love to see a march on Wash on the issue by millions of folks. But it won’t happen. The mind control . . . propaganda stuff has been toooo effective. The frog in the bucket lulled to sleep sheeple are marching lock step with the traitorous idiots into the jaws of oblivion.

I’m glad I read the end of THE BOOK and know who wins.

HE ALONE is our refuge.

In terms of your home page . . .

WOW.

I didn’t expect to agree so wholesale with it after reading your intro. But I do.

I think George Washington’s vision is a true one . . . i.e. that is really from him . . . and really prophetically true. I believe we will see it played out in our lifetimes.
And I’m 61.

I’ve known Hagel to be a globalist but not Lugar... I am not even going to think of it has elites vs. US but more of an UnConstitutional, non sovereignty group of dopes vs. US.

We’ve been up that crick a long time.

Folks just didn’t realize that their paddles were turning from wood to paper mache in their unused hands.

The die is well cast.

Have been wondering for years what the time frame would be for the climax of history as we’ve known it.

It’s clearer by the day.

I do not expect a President to even be pseudo pretend elected after the next four years and certainly not after the next 8.

Events more dramatic than all the rest of the global dramas of the last 2000 years will overtake the planet.

Scripture says that when the evil are in power, the good hide themselves.

God will help the good do that . . . though many will be martyred.

The luke-warm will be in for some particular . . . harshness.

And the traitorous cluless globalist idiots have lots of demonic torturers eager to get their hands on them in hell.

MARANATHA!

"I’ve known Hagel to be a globalist but not Lugar."

Then you have not been following Lugar for long. He has a LONG record of globalist and United Nations activity in the Foreign Relations Committee. There are less than 10 Republican Senators IMO who would not be thrilled to give away our sovereignty. You may think of it in any terms you please, but it boils down to the elites of both parties against us, the peons and taxpayers who have elected these jokers who have sold us and the country they were born in out to the global elite for their own benefit.

To be quite honest... I haven’t known of Lugar until today. I’ve tried to keep up on the globalists but never seen his name brought up. Probably should’ve looked harder, huh? :) Yeah, it truly does boil down to the party elites, that’s why we peons need to start believing in the We the People portion of the Constitution again, like most conservatives do.

The results will be worse than the war on poverty in the USA. No one ever goes after the real cause of poverty, GOVERNMENT CONTROLS. The more communist or socialist the government the poorer the people. Only democracy and freedom can cure poverty.

It is pure fantasy to think that Hildegarde Schickelgrubber is more moderate than B. Hussein. We must get behind John McCain. Hold your noses if you have to but we can’t let either of those Marxists in the White House.

You guys called Ron Paul a kook and a racist but here he is talking about this UN crap, light-years ahead of Republicans:

UN Plans for Global Gun Control

Have fun with John McCain.

Regardless of his oath to defend the Constitution, Obama is in contempt of the Constitution as evidenced by his constitutionally unauthorized federal spending proposals.

This post (<-click), while addressing a tax-related thread, explains in more detail why misguided, spending-happy politicians like Obama are foolishly following in the footsteps of FDR's dirty federal spending politics.

The bottom line is that the people need to send big-shot, constitution-ignoring federal spenders like Obama and Clinton home instead of trying to put people like them in the Oval Office.
