Political worshippers of the new Messiah.
These days, Obama worshippers file two kinds of columns. The first school is well represented by Ezra Klein, the elderly bobbysoxer of The American Prospect:
Obama's finest speeches do not excite. They do not inform. They don't even really inspire. They elevate. They enmesh you in a grander moment, as if history has stopped flowing passively by, and, just for an instant, contracted around you, made you aware of its presence, and your role in it. He is not the Word made flesh, but the triumph of word over flesh, over color, over despair.

The liberal messiah. He walks on water, “Hope and Change”. Right now it’s Hillary’s job to destroy him.
Some hard truth in this piece thats for sure.
I hate to say it, but Obama dings my Anti-Christ alarm far more than the Clintons ever did....
But I'm pretty sure that if it does happen, her fall campaign will target the racist Republicans who attacked Obama and how she's the only one who can stop them from bringing back Jim Crow.
Any other Christians creeped out by this constant use of “the word made flesh” by leftie Obamites when discussing Obama?
For non-Christians, this is what their reference corresponds to:

His meanderings, as well as those of the insipid Clinton duo, are utterly without meaning.
We are about to embark on a journey down a dark hole from which our society will be unable to extract itself.
Either way, political correctness and evil will prevail in our nation....something must be done.
"But now they're down to just two candidates: a New York senator who was born in Illinois, and a senator from Illinois who was apparently born in a manger," said McConnell.
Very good line.
It creeps me out, in spades.
Will he have bobby KKK byrd as his veep to provide GRAVITAS {and also get the racist vote}.
“I hate to say it, but Obama dings my Anti-Christ alarm far more than the Clintons ever did....”
Well he DOES come offering hope, peace and love while not actually SAYING anything.
I'm waiting for his slogan, "Yes we can" to be carved in stone. I'm sure his supporters are expecting it any day now.
Imagine, if you will. You have gone to a Presidential rally where the candidate speaks but nothing comes out. The people cheer..... for nothing. You have now entered, the Twilight Zone!!!
Good one.
He is not an empty suit. He is a suit crammed full of dangerous and evil ambitions. See: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1972236/posts
I was speaking in the political sense. He has nothing to offer but rhetoric. Sorry if I wasn’t clear.
Maybe Seinfeld could write a sit-com - a rally about nothing.
I think you’re onto something here. It’s the Seinfeld campaign!!!
I would say that Obama is the Kramer of this Seinfeld campaign, but Kramer went on a racist tirade so I guess that would be insensitive...
