Support among Conservatives? Read my lips! This (p)arty has lost their collective soul. Nationally we spend money so fast that it would embarrass a drunken sailor back from a twelve month tour of duty. Hooray for W’s tax cuts and Iraq policy, but not much else. McVain has been the greatest detriment to my freedom of speech since the Alien and Sedition Act. The two POW’s I know won’t even mention his name. He wants to be President to prove to his father and grandfather that he didn’t need to become an Admiral. I will either ask for a subsidy for a nose job or deduct the medical expense when I vote for McPain in November. Until then Huckabee is my vote in the Texas primary. Just out of spite. And here in the State of Texas, a big-haired, 39% vote Governor tries to tell Huckabee, two times, to take a hike. The same governor who’s Department of Transportation can’t find ONE BILLION ONE HUNDRED MILLION DOLLARS. Solution, make every public highway a toll way and give it to a foreign corporation. A sycophantic moth circling the candle's flame, soon to have his wings singed. A (r)epublican House and Senate who passed a new Franchise Tax cloaking a personal income tax, that will raise taxes when spending cuts were the solution, but they will take our money, spend it in larger budgets, and complain why job growth has gone away. A Lieutenant Governor who kills a voter ID bill because his good Democrat friend wasn’t on the floor for the vote, who goes to fundraisers for Democrat Senators’ re-election. A Speaker of the House who forms three PACs to funnel money to sympathetic Democrat State Representatives who supported him for Speaker. (r)epublicans all. We have become what we hated, as worthless as a penny waiting for change. My forty years of work in the trenches has gone for naught and now I am being buried by my “fellow (r)epublicans" with the dirt I dug in this wretched trench. Vote Huckabee. Vote Paul. Send them a message or remain a gutless wonder!!!!

The terms: "demoplicans" and "republicrats" used to be kind of a running joke (the best humor being couched in truth), but I ain't laughing these days.

"You can fool all of the people some of the time and some of the people all of the time and that's enough to make a good living."

LOL....... I don’t care WHO endorses John McCain... I just can’t bring myself to vote for him... IN FACT.. the only way to shift the GOP back to the right is to vote FOR Hillary or Obama.. giving them a lopsided “victory” will in essence make that victory illegitimate.... and will allow the conservatives in congress to ACTIVELY and AGGRESSIVELY oppose everything he/she tries to do.... putting John McCain in the WhiteHouse will DESTROY the 2 party system, and force the conservatives in congress to either support his liberal agenda or create a civil war.. which will also destroy the party... I say this.. if John McCain is our nomminee we try again in 2012.. PERIOD

Actually not true since McAmnesty loves the open border garbage so damned much, how hard would it be to get a suitcase nuke across it? Combine that with the fact that Juan would prefer to lose millions of Americans in nuclear fire than to make a terrorist captive the least bit uncomfortable, and he really is no better on the issue than the other Democrats in the race.

Captain Queeg is going to come for your money, so whats the difference? McCain is a LIBERAL. He is just as bad as Obama and Hillary. Former President Bush’s endorsement is just more proof that the fix is in - the elites want to force Captain Queeg down our throats, even though he has betrayed everything we stand for on many occasions. We need to abandon the GOP as it has abandoned us and work to form a Conservative Party that can run a real conservative in 2012.

I’ve read his lips and they tell me to vote Huckabee since he’s the one most likely to beat McCain.

This H.W. Bush 41 was a liberal Republican from the get-go who worked with Reagan, rode his coalition to a one-term presidency that ended with his broken promise “read my lips” on no new taxes.

Then H.W. Bush and his wife Barbara went on Larry King in 1993 to say they believe in a woman’s “right to choose” an abortion.

During the White House years (VP and President) the pro-life position was taken by H.W. Bush.

After that they quieted down on abortion when their sons got into politics.

His endorsement of McCain means **** to any real conservative.

Maybe. But more constructive imo is to strengthen our States, fill them with Conservatives, teach at the grass roots, help citizens in the States with conservative policies, which will put less pressure on the Feds to be nannies.

Proven conservative policies that produce results in States will naturally make those constituents more conservative which will elect more conservatives to federal office.

AND, the added benefit will be to castrate the national MSM, (who are conservatives greatest enemy), by going around them locally.

Whether you like it or not, a lopsided victory for Hitlery or ODumbo will merely say to the GOP that they are not sufficiently LEFT of center. We will end up losing the remaining centrists and conservatives in congress during the next few years as they are displaced by more left-of-center Republicans.

Hillary Clinton fundraiser Norman Hsu fugitive for grand theft?

The Wall Street Journal reports Norman Hsu, one of the top fundraisers for Hillary Clinton, may be a fugitive from justice.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Norman Hsu, a top Democratic contributor and a major fundraiser for the presidential campaign of Sen. Hillary Clinton, has pleaded no contest to a charge of grand theft in 1991. According to the Journal, Hsu accepted a plea baring to serve three years in jail after for allegedly cheating investors out of $1 million.

California prosecutor claims that Mr. Hsu never appeared for his sentencing and a warrant has been issued for his arrest. “He is a fugitive. Do you know where he is?” Ronald Smetana, who handled the case for the California state attorney general, said in an interview with the paper. Norman Hsu’s attorney claims that there are no outstanding warrants for his client.

The WSJ also linked Norman Hsu to a San Francisco family, the Paw family, who live in a modest house, but have contributed $55,000 to Hillary Clinton in the past three years. Winkle Paw, who lists as his employer several companies owned by Mr. Hsu, is the top contributor from the Paw family. You can see a picture of their home on the right. “I have been fortunate in my investments and all of my contributions have been in my money,” Winkle Paw told the newspaper.

The Hillary Clinton camp said today that there is no reason to return the donations, as there is no evidence that anyone got reimbursed for the donations, and that the Paw family, although living in a small house, had the financial means for these contributions!

Hsu raised big money for Clinton supporters
Candidates she courted benefit
By Scott Helman, Globe Staff | September 26, 2007

Disgraced fund-raiser Norman Hsu did a lot more than just pump $850,000 into Hillary Clinton’s campaign bank account: He also raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for local, state, and federal candidates who have endorsed Clinton or whose support she courted.

A major fund-raiser for Democrats since 2003, Hsu became one of Clinton’s biggest bundlers - gathering scores of individual checks and sending them to her campaign. But since revelations last month that Hsu was a fugitive in a 15-year-old California fraud case, Clinton has said she would return the $850,000 she has taken from him and his associates.

Exposing Hillary’s Illegalities In Los Angeles Court To Begin Feb. 21!
The Hillary Clinton Accountability Project will shortly launch its fundraising drive to raise $500,000 to support the most important citizen’s legal initiative of 2008. The landmark civil fraud suit of Paul v Clinton et al which the California Supreme Court ordered to proceed against the Clintons, Grammys Producer Gary Smith and Clinton agent Jim Levin, will be set for trial and a discovery schedule at a special conference to be held in Los Angeles Superior Court on February 21, 2008.

The first law suit in American history to bring a President and a Senator to court for defrauding the Senator’s largest campaign donor and his public company will be set for trial and discovery at the Case Management Conference before Judge Munoz. Discovery and depositions of key witnesses, including the Clinton family, Al Gore, Ed Rendell, Terry McAuliffe, Harold Ickes, Howard Wolfson, Kelly Craighead, Barbara Streisand, Brad Pitt, Larry King, Mike Wallace among an array of political and entertainment leaders, will present an inside look at a culture of corruption that will shock the public.
