McCain/Feingold supression of political free speech
McCain/Lieberman "climate stewardship" act
McCain/Kennedy amnesty for illegal aliens bill
McCain/Lieberman gun control bill (fortunately didn't pass)
McCain vote against Bush tax cuts
McCain vote for permanent extension of the semi-auto ban

Other than that Mrs Lincoln how was the play?

We need to abandon the GOP as it has abandoned us and work to form a Conservative Party that can run a real conservative in 2012.

Maybe. But more constructive imo is to strengthen our States, fill them with Conservatives, teach at the grass roots, help citizens in the States with conservative policies, which will put less pressure on the Feds to be nannies.

Proven conservative policies that produce results in States will naturally make those constituents more conservative which will elect more conservatives to federal office.

AND, the added benefit will be to castrate the national MSM, (who are conservatives greatest enemy), by going around them locally.

Yup. He’s staunchly pro life. He was one of five senators who didn’t do earmarks last year.

Whether you like it or not, a lopsided victory for Hitlery or ODumbo will merely say to the GOP that they are not sufficiently LEFT of center. We will end up losing the remaining centrists and conservatives in congress during the next few years as they are displaced by more left-of-center Republicans.

The Reasons I will Vote MCCAIN 2008

BOSTON GLOBE
Hillary Clinton fundraiser Norman Hsu fugitive for grand theft?

The Wall Street Journal reports Norman Hsu, one of the top fundraisers for Hillary Clinton, may be a fugitive from justice.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Norman Hsu, a top Democratic contributor and a major fundraiser for the presidential campaign of Sen. Hillary Clinton, has pleaded no contest to a charge of grand theft in 1991. According to the Journal, Hsu accepted a plea baring to serve three years in jail after for allegedly cheating investors out of $1 million.

California prosecutor claims that Mr. Hsu never appeared for his sentencing and a warrant has been issued for his arrest. “He is a fugitive. Do you know where he is?” Ronald Smetana, who handled the case for the California state attorney general, said in an interview with the paper. Norman Hsu’s attorney claims that there are no outstanding warrants for his client.

The WSJ also linked Norman Hsu to a San Francisco family, the Paw family, who live in a modest house, but have contributed $55,000 to Hillary Clinton in the past three years. Winkle Paw, who lists as his employer several companies owned by Mr. Hsu, is the top contributor from the Paw family. You can see a picture of their home on the right. “I have been fortunate in my investments and all of my contributions have been in my money,” Winkle Paw told the newspaper.

The Hillary Clinton camp said today that there is no reason to return the donations, as there is no evidence that anyone got reimbursed for the donations, and that the Paw family, although living in a small house, had the financial means for these contributions!

Hsu raised big money for Clinton supporters
Candidates she courted benefit
By Scott Helman, Globe Staff | September 26, 2007

Disgraced fund-raiser Norman Hsu did a lot more than just pump $850,000 into Hillary Clinton’s campaign bank account: He also raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for local, state, and federal candidates who have endorsed Clinton or whose support she courted.

A major fund-raiser for Democrats since 2003, Hsu became one of Clinton’s biggest bundlers - gathering scores of individual checks and sending them to her campaign. But since revelations last month that Hsu was a fugitive in a 15-year-old California fraud case, Clinton has said she would return the $850,000 she has taken from him and his associates.

Exposing Hillary’s Illegalities In Los Angeles Court To Begin Feb. 21!
The Hillary Clinton Accountability Project will shortly launch its fundraising drive to raise $500,000 to support the most important citizen’s legal initiative of 2008. The landmark civil fraud suit of Paul v Clinton et al which the California Supreme Court ordered to proceed against the Clintons, Grammys Producer Gary Smith and Clinton agent Jim Levin, will be set for trial and a discovery schedule at a special conference to be held in Los Angeles Superior Court on February 21, 2008.

The first law suit in American history to bring a President and a Senator to court for defrauding the Senator’s largest campaign donor and his public company will be set for trial and discovery at the Case Management Conference before Judge Munoz. Discovery and depositions of key witnesses, including the Clinton family, Al Gore, Ed Rendell, Terry McAuliffe, Harold Ickes, Howard Wolfson, Kelly Craighead, Barbara Streisand, Brad Pitt, Larry King, Mike Wallace among an array of political and entertainment leaders, will present an inside look at a culture of corruption that will shock the public.

“We faced down the Soviet nuclear threat which potentially was far more dangerous than anything jihad can create.”

“Barack Obama, the CIA-Brzezinski-Soros candidate specialized in duping gullible voters, wants to bomb Pakistan, a country of 160 million people that actually might fight back with nuclear weapons. This lunatic proposal makes Obama demonstrably the most explicit and outspoken warmonger in the Democratic field. And this is only the begining: Obama’s chief controller, Zbigniew Brzezinski, actually intends to court confrontation with Russia, which is fast becoming the most powerful nuclear state on earth. Time to stop the swoon before it’s too late.

If you remember, Zbginiew Brzenzinski was Jimmy Carter’s National Security Advisor. He was the guy who let a bunch of religious zealots humiliate the US for over a year. Now he’s dealing with the thugs in Syria. I don’t care what you say - I don’t want to go thru another Carter Administration just so we might get another Reagan.

Yup. He’s staunchly pro life.

Sorry good buddy, if I give you more, you'll just ask for more still I know how this game is played. Frankly my dear "staunchly pro life" just doesn't do it for me. It's totally irrelevant in the face of his overwheliming liberalism on important subjects like government spending, pro tax and anti-gun attitudes. F... McCain. He's about as conservative as Hillary. Not to mention he's a head case - the republican equivalent of Howard Dean.

"He was one of five senators who didn’t do earmarks last year."

What about the year before and the year before that? You've come up with two non-reasons to think he's conservative.

Well in the words of Bill Lind while sitting at a table on his show called the Next Revolution named "Cafe Zurich", "To Real Change or Revolution." Which will it be for the GOP?

When Obama comes to take your money, and the Iranians bring a nuke to NYC, what will you do then?

This can become reality if the Obama-nation takes over.

Even though I seriously doubt that would happen, are you so very afraid of dying? Are the young men and women in our military the only people consigned to die for our freedoms?

There was a time when all Americans were prepared to lay down their lives for freedom, not just those currently in uniform. The Second Amendment is a testament to that: all of us should be ready to protect, defend and die if need be to preserve our freedoms.

We may very well suffer more terrorist attacks, no matter who is in office. Attacks that, while having the potential to be rather terrible, would never lead to our being conquered by nutcase Islamics. If we remembered what it was to be Americans, anyway. The proud eagle and Stars and Bars used to symbolize the strength and bravery of all Americans, not just our military.

The Founding Fathers would weep tears of grief at what weak cowards we've become; at how easily we're surrendering our freedoms that they fought for, while sending the brave young souls in our military to die in the shithole Middle East just so we can be "safe".

You don’t know anything about McCain

Now you're starting to annoy me. Are you really that ignorant or are you just lying? McCain/Feingold, Heard of it? McCain/Lieberman, Heard of it? McCain Kennedy, Heard of it? I have, but you apparently haven't. Don't piss on my head and tell me it's raining. No one here is stupid enought to fall for the bullsh!t that McCain is a conservative. The only thing I can find in McCain's favor is that he initially voted against the prescription drug give away. But of course he voted for the egregious no child left behnd, and lookie here

Earmarks - who cares. Against government spending - only some of the time. pro life - who cares. WOT - not really since he's hot to give amnesty for illegal aliens. More americans have been killed by Mexicans in this country illegally than have been killed by muslim terrorists. Illegal aliens cost more than the war in Iraq (and how is that stopping terrorists from coming into this country when our southern border is wide open?) Gun control - important to me for a candidate to be against it. He's for it. Freedom of speech - a biggie for me. He sponsored legislation to stiffle it.
