Why they want people like me to get behind McCain I’ll never know. He’s not going to win with his detractors or without us. I’m getting new windows and fixing a safe room. We’re not doomed but why worry? Be prepared.

As Eric Cartman would say to the McCain campaign and endorsers, “Screw you guys, I’m goin’ home.”

I don’t care if God Almighty himself is endorsing McCain, I won’t be voting for him.

Ahem, if God All Mighty is endorsing McCain, he will not only win, but win in biblical proportions, and you will haver absolutely no influence on the outcome.

INSANITY DEF: "Traditionally, insanity or madness is the behaviour whereby a person flouts societal norms (such as parental authority) and becomes a danger to himself and others. Greek tragedies and Shakespeare often refers to madness in this sense. Psychologically, it is a general popular and legal term defining behaviour influenced by mental instability. It is defined by the Merriam-Webster dictionary as a deranged state of the mind or lack of understanding"

I think there is insanity in this over the top attack on mcCain. In this case the "societal norm" here is the reality of US politics.Us politics is like NASCAR , it only turns left, that's just the way it is. You can take a higher line and try to pass, but go too far right and you'll hit the wall

The deranged state of mind is evident in very bad choices being displayed such as "writing in Elvis" (or whoever) or "sitting it out"

the lack of understanding is perpetuated by believing everyone else has, or should have their conservative views.....or that somehow , magically it will be better with a democrat in the WH "to punish america" and bring it back to the right.

Now he did call the FSLIC and ask them to stop auditing Kenneth Keeting’s Savings and Loan in Phoenix and recieved over $300K for doing that but we can let bygones be bygones.

You and I well recall GHWBush looking down that patrician nose at voodoo economics.

GHWB and JMcC both mock Reagonomics, the proven catalyst of tax cuts, a phenomenon obvious to John Fitzgerald Kennedy.

Wishy-washy squishes of the left and right think they can form history like pla-doh to get themselves power.

I think America is giving JMcC and the GOPatricians a timeout.

I went door to door for Goldwater--not Rockefeller.

McC would volunteer for Kerry's vp--anybody who would do that unspeakable practice/unnatural act should be kept a thousand feet from schools and government buildings.

If he is the nominee I will vote for McCain. No, he was not my first choice. I think we have to unite.

One more to add to the list of faux conservatives who pulled the wool over our sheepish faces.

any body notice how, whenever you see the libs on TV they always look fresh and colorful ?

and mcCain looks all overexposed and pale like someone turned up the brightness control ?

it was really evident tonight when the news showed Obama & hillary , then the podium where GHWB was giving the endorsement, they were definitly playing with the lighting, even the backgrounds were washed, everyone in the crowd even looked pale and white

McCain is looking more like he’s from a wax museum

To me he's looking more like he's from the Democratic party. When I look at Howard Dean and look at McCain I find it hard to tell them apart.

Mr. President, with all respect for your office, I couldn’t wait to get rid of you. Now I can’t wait to get rid of your son.

Why the hell should I care what any Bush thinks about a nominee?

George HW Bush said he supported McCain because he was a true conservative and would not raise taxes.....

....Irony lives on......
