The four years of hell in order to straighten the country out again is the one (and only) legit argument for FReepers not to vote McCain. I just worry that Obama might do irreparable damage in such dangerous times. Could be wrong. I thought the White Sox were on the verge of dynasty too....
I too will have that dirty feeling after voting for McLame. However, half a devil is better than a whole one. FOR NOW!

I couldn’t agree more. At least when Carter was in office the majority of Americans understood who the enemy was. Obama scares the living daylights out of me, and his supporters are some of the biggest loons I’ve ever seen. I expect all politicians to be somewhat dicey, it does after all go with the job, but I can see where the candidates I support are just being politicians. Obama doesn’t have supporters, he has followers. They really think he’s some kind of messiah. The really scary thing is that Obamas wife seems to think that too, so how long till Obama himself buys into the delusion. Heaven help us.
My understanding is that it is not a fake, but was from a video where the National Anthem was being sung.

This video was up Sunday night on FR. Several anti Mccain people said they will vote McCain to keep Obama out. I talked to a friend who supports Ron Paul. She wasn’t going to vote at all but has changed her mind after seeing the video and she is telling everyone who will listen that we need to keep Obama out.
I saw a thread where Obama’s crew is REALLY worried someone might try and take him out. Just like the Kennedy assassination, the suspects would be aplenty.

This is the kind of stuff that drives Hillary nuts. She knows this is suicide in a general election, but she can’t point it out and have any chance in the primaries.
Bill promised to let gays serve openly in the military, to give Haitians the same rights as Cubans, and to give us a middle class tax cut. The Dims had both houses of Congress and he still didn’t get it done because presidents don’t rule by dictate.
