LOST fans - A Theory on Time Travel (lost spoiler)
Lost: A Theory on Time Travel ^ | Jason Hunter

Posted on 02/29/2008 9:28:28 AM PST by Scythian

I have read through this and am a huge fan of Lost, this theory is dead on and last nights episode with Desmond nails it down, a very thrilling show, even more so once you read the theory. (Don't miss the comments at the very bottom, there's a big blank space between it and that top).

If you really take the time to read it and have been watching the show from the beginning you'll be amazed.

I’ll go read it right now, thanks. I am a big fan too and have often wondered why there wasn’t a LOST thread on FR. Last night’s episode was awesome!

I’ve been following this guy’s website now for three weeks. I think you’re right...his explanation is the best explanation I’ve seen to what the heck is happening on Lost. It’s amazing somebody could even think up this entire story.

Hmmm...can't seem to get to the link. It says "Service Unavailable".
Bump to try again later.

Ya, agreed, it’s absolutely thrilling. Last night was riviting, the whole show is Mind Candy, I love it. I hate to think that the show will ever end. I have watched it from the first episode and tape it on my DVR then rewatch it over the weekend, truly a very, very good show.

He is truly a great actor I think, he was also in the Gospel of John, which was also terrific.

I do not understand the fascination with this show. Yes, the concept and some of the storylines are interesting and at times compeling, but the actual writing/dialogue is formulaic, the characters one-dimensional and predictable (mostly by their ethnicity), the production often Gilligan’s Island quality, there plot gaps (not the good kind) you can drive a truck through, poor editing (sweat stains in one scene, not in the next), etc. This is not within light years of a Sopranos, The Wire, and many other shows.

Last nights episode was one of the best ever and it rarely showed any of the main regulars (Jack, Locke, Sawyer, etc..)if at all.

Sheeze, you gotta be kidding man, some folks just can’t think out the box is the problem here ;) relax, I’ll bet TV Land is running Gilligan’s Island, you can catch it tonight for the dumbed down version (just razzing you). Lost is awesome.

Yep ;) I do like the overall concept, I just think I’ve been spoiled by other shows where the execution is just so awesome (like the ones I mentioned) that the little things really bug me. It just seems amazing that network television can’t summon up the same level of talent, production, and breakthrough thinking that the cable shows can.

Well, that’s your opinion, I watched an episode of the Saprano’s and had no interest in it at all, everyones different, and LOST is huge, so you don’t like it, I really don’t care for the shows you mentioned, why did you have to come and spoil our thread?

Lost is the only show on TV I watch or care about, and it’s the only TV show I remember paying any interest since Star Trek New Generation.

The combination of interesting character studies, exciting plot, current and past pop culture, western philosophy and science is wonderful.
