That does not mean a conservative must BE a moderate but he should be able to appeal to them. Ann Coulter does not. Reagan did.

THAT is the crux of this mess. ESPECIALLY when you remember that Obama only refuted the words caught on tape, the specific ones that got him into trouble. Then he lied and tried to paint those words as occasional flukes from an embarrassing relative a few cards short of a deck.

And yet Obama's die hard supporters are still trying to relativize him out of it.

Only anecdotal but I think the following is playing out all over blue collar Democrat America:

One of my Democrat friends (female) who was leaning towards Obama is FURIOUS over his pastor’s speeches (she comes from good Irish Cathoic stock). Obama is no longer her cadidate. And she never did like Hillary. She told me yesterday that she’ll probably stay home on election day. I am sure she is not alone.

After last week’s revelations, Obama is toast. It’s only a matter of time. Notice how quiet the Hillary camp is on this subject? No need to add fuel to this fire.

The problem is that this huckster has fooled a lot of gullible morons who can vote. They have bought the rhetoric without looking beyond the facade. The sooner he is exposed for what he really is then the better we all are. We can’t risk him actually winning this election.

I read other non political forums and just from listening to the political conversations when out in public Obama has more crossover appeal than a lot of people realize. They are infatuated with his oratory skills. He is more dangerous than Hitlery simply because he has tons of charisma and people are blindly following him.

Just What Did Obama Know About Wright's Past Sermons? (Plenty)

Obama’s supporters want us to ignore this story… just push it under the rug. While they’ll align Republicans with any obscure pastor who does or says something controversial, they’re trying to convince us that Obama’s 20-year long close relationship with Wright, including his effective endorsement of him, his church and rhetoric with a $22,500 donation in 2006 is irrelevant.
