The Roots Of Black Anger
IBD ^ | March 19, 2008

Posted on 03/19/2008 7:16:34 PM PDT by Kaslin

Race: Barack Obama says black "anger is real, and to simply wish it away without understanding its roots only serves to widen the chasm." He's right. So let's examine these bitter roots.

We saw last week just how real that anger is from the video clips of his preacher's shocking sermons. They jarred America's white majority, which had no idea the hostility in the black community was so fevered that it spews from pulpits by men of the cloth at America's largest black churches each Sunday.

In his speech, Obama rationalized that "the history of racial injustice in this country" gives rise to the kind of anger that fueled Rev. Jeremiah Wright's anti-white rants. He ticked off slavery, Jim Crow laws, school segregation and job bias, and maintained that discrimination still is holding back African-Americans.

While these racist crimes of the past still sting, Obama is wrong to suggest that legalized discrimination still exists today. There is no conspiracy of racism in America.

The harsh truth is, much of the anger he speaks of is based on paranoia manifesting in urban legends about whites creating AIDS to kill blacks or crack cocaine to lock them up. Wright spreads these pernicious lies in Obama's church, and Obama has rewarded him with $23,000 a year in donations, if not his own hallelujahs.

Intellectually honest blacks, such as Shelby Steele, will tell you that racism is such a distant memory that racial victimologists like Wright are now left with concocting wild-eyed conspiracy theories to maintain their power.

Black Anger

...is the mother's milk of American leftwing politics.

I've been postulating it for some time, now I'm starting to hear it from others: Overheard at work today:

Did you hear The Speech?
No.
It was [some adjective hyperbole]. If He loses, it's only because They take it away from Him.

...I am not kidding; these are professionals talking. Granted, their level of critical thinking is about up judging American Idol, but still, they're everyday black Americans.

He can't lose any more than Rodney King or OJ Simpson can be guilty.

Interesting times, indeed.

urban legends about whites creating AIDS to kill blacks or crack cocaine to lock them up.

Well, to be honest, we really did those things.

I was on that project and I saved all the emails.

It wasn't easy to do, either. We spent millions on microbiology alone.

Crack wasn't too difficult though.

Some friend of Wright is on Greta’s show on Fox right now, trying to explain away the “G-damn America” comment - it’s all context, according to this guy, and Wright was really referring to the government, not to the country. Uhhhh. Okay. It’s still outrageous. Now he says Wright is very thoughtful in what he says and does. Again: uhhhhh. Okay. This guy’s spinning faster than my dryer.

"The harsh truth is, much of the anger he speaks of is based on paranoia manifesting in urban legends about whites creating AIDS to kill blacks or crack cocaine to lock them up."

Those assertion are the worst. They are total BS lies created out of whole cloth to be provocative and nothing more. If proof is demanded of the truth of these assertions the comeback is can you prove it is not true. It is asserted that this proposition is true, only because you have not proven it false.

This is a troofer type tactic played by Race Pimps. It by no means is their sole property but it is of a type similar to the "Blood Libel" against Jews with a similar goal of generating hate against the target, in this case the "Racist White Government".

The roots of black anger are in the Democrat Party as well documented in An Open Letter to the Democratic Party by Lt. Colonel Frances Rice, U.S. Army Retired, posted at the Lincoln Heritage Institute. He has thoroughly, succinctly and damningly exposed what the Democrat Party has done to black Americans since Reconstruction.

These are sad times. Sad that the one man who stands for “change” doesn’t really even stand for that at all. It’s all a big joke.

Change won’t happen as long as blacks are allowed to be racist while I sit here and wonder if it is crude for me to type blacks as opposed to “African Americans.” I guess its just that double standard and hypocrisy that has been drilled into my head since I was a little “kracka ass” baby.

(is it PC for a white person to call themselves a kracka?)

There is a class of colored people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs, and the hardships of the Negro race before the public. Having learned that they are able to make a living out of their troubles, they have grown into the settled habit of advertising their wrongs-partly because they want sympathy and partly because it pays. Some of these people do not want the Negro to lose his grievances, because they do not want to lose their jobs.

Hopefully straight talk about the whole issue will ensue. I really hope everyone speaks up, black and white.

One thing is true, the first laws against drug usage were pushed by white southern Democrats looking for ways to lock up black men and force them into prison work gangs. The proceeds from those work gangs went to the warden and variuos other crooked ‘Rat politicians.

“Oh! and Martin Luther King was a REPUBLICAN...”

But was he a Christian? He was a minister, but what did he subscribe to? How different, really, was he from Wright and others who use the pulpit for social causes and not for worship? There is a fascinating article by a black woman called “Was Martin Luther King a Christian?” Her conclusion is a resounding no. It’s at www.jesus-is-lord.com/king.htm

Barry Obama is promoting the continued force of the black anger by bringing his beautiful daughters for inculcation in this same hate-whitey-hustle that has inculcated him. Obama’s wife shows how effective the pastor’s hate speech has been. I do not for a second believe the same hate is not ingrained in Barry’s mind due to twenty plus years of swilling it down and agreeing so much that he wants his daughters to drink the same.

Regarding the damn America comment - if Wright truly believes America is so evil, and if he is truly a minister of the Lord, he should be saying just the opposite. If he thinks we are so bad, he SHOULD be saying “God bless America” - bless us, forgive us, show us the way. Not damn us.

Blacks love to speak of slavery. My family never owned slaves! I am enslaved via taxes to support the black community. Black people you were never slaves! Your ancestors were, but you are better off today....if slavery never occurred you would still be in the bush country of darkest Africa.

I wonder if they all really use this hate rhetoric just to create division. Not that some pols don't do it consciously, but is Wright even aware of the effects of his ranting. . . ?

I've seen people like this at young ages, and I now reckon they start out just being sad, sorry examples of humanity who can't hold a job or keep friends, and who just want to profess their agony to the world. Then they discover that they can actually gather up others people who will love them for it. That adoration becomes their Truth, so they keep on with it forever. It's a symbiotic relationship, and it's been happening for aeons. Hitler did it to perfection.

Nothing is ever going to change as long as we got black parents taking their children to churches like Obama’s that spew hate. It’s just like there is never going to be peace in Israel as long as the Palestinians have television shows aimed at children that preach hate and promote violence and murder against the people of Israel.

Even though Obama’s speech was nothing more then eloquently rehashed race baiting; it may have saved his nomination, only to become unelectable in the GE. Yeah sure the MSM and the far left pumped and spun this thing up. It's just not going to fly in Middle America; especially in the battleground sates of the Midwest. The sheen is off the Moonbat Messiah. The speech was good as far as generalities and platitudes used go, but was substance less for the most part. It may have quelled the current controversy, but will have little affect on the GE.

Barry increased immensely the odds that his daughters will be just as anti-american and full of the hate-whitey as his pastor is and no doubt he is too, though he’s good at hiding it and presenting a ‘deal maker’ face of compromise. barack Hussein Obama is useful for one very important point, he is exposing the blind sycophancy which is hallmark of democrat voters ... they’ve been instructed in how to be this blind to his anti-american person and to compromise at all cost to be PC and get along. Sadly, this same flaw in them will be used by Islamofascists to bring pressure to disengage America in the war on terror. THAT makes Barry Obama and his ilk very dangerous!

"During that time most southern blacks were republicans if they were anythung.. The KKK were democrats.."

You're correct that they were, but MLK, Sr. (and presumably Junior) dropped Nixon for JFK in 1960. Junior favored big government solutions to the problems of the Black community, solutions that made things far worse in the long run to the disaster we've seen today. He played a substantial part in leading Southern Blacks into the Democrat plantation (Northern Blacks, unfortunately, had followed the siren call of FDR and the Big City Dem machines in the mid '30s).

I didn’t read the article, but it raised a question in my mind - philosophically speaking, is there any difference between “black anger” (real or perceived) and “muslim anger” (also real or perceived)??

IMO, both groups are TOLD that they have been deprived and/or oppressed by “evil” whites or westerners. By the same token, neither group has stopped to consider whether they play a part in their own deprivation/oppression by asking who is really doing the depriving/oppression?

In the case of blacks, their “oppression” is caused by their own “black leadership” who make money by extorting whites and blaming whites and white businesses for the (perceived) status of most blacks. The reality is that the majority of American blacks live substantially better than their counterparts in most African nations and other “poor” nations around the world.

In the case of Muslims, it is the mullahs and ayatollahs telling the muslims that westerners are at fault for the fact that they live a 7th century lifestyle and are deprived of modern amenities and conveniences because westerners don’t follow Islam. Again, in the case of muslims, they have chosen to follow their life of misery and deprivation by virtue of their religious beliefs. The last time I checked, Mohammed wasn’t a westerner, but he is the one who came up with the goofy principles of Islam.

In both cases, each group is betrayed from within, NOT from without. Perhaps, instead of pointing fingers of blame at whites and westerners, each group should examine the other fingers pointing back at them!
