Researchers at Harvard say that publicly voiced doubts about the U.S. occupation of Iraq have a "measureable effect" on insurgents there.

Periods of intense news media coverage in the United States of criticism about the war, or of polling about public opinions on the conflict, are followed by a small but quantifiable increases in the number of attacks on civilians and U.S. forces in Iraq...

The increase in attacks is more pronounced in areas of Iraq that have better access to international news media, the authors conclude in a report titled "Is There an 'Emboldenment' Effect? Evidence from the Insurgency in Iraq."

... "We find that in periods immediately after a spike in anti-resolve statements, the level of insurgent attacks increases," says the study...

If it means regaining power for the democrats none on them give a damn how many bodies are strewn across the battlefield. Lets just call a spade a spade. They learned their lesson well during Vietnam. Damn them to hell.

How many Iraqi kids are dead because of the MSM? Quite a few, is my guess.

It seems to me that some superb analyst would be able to attribute civilian and military deaths to the Dems and their cohorts by using this study.

What if a reporter asked Obama about this? What if a reporter asked anybody about this?

Some Senators ought to turn thee tables on a Sunday morning on this crap and tell the truth.

Problem is, at least 98 of the 100 Senators love their re-elections more than they love their country.

-all of this is helping to kill US military personnel.

I would say between 25% and 50% of casualties are indirectly attributable to the MSM. I listened to this wretched man, Michael Ware, no, I blotted much of it out this evening.

He droned on and on. Looking like death warmed up, his voice, which at one time he used in a distorted fashion. The late Steve Irwin, who fooled with nature once too often, used this caricature of his dialect. I could not stand it much longer. I remember one sentence way back. "American boyz doiyin and noaw ind".

I wondered where one Caroline Hawley had gone- she who would "smell sewage in a bed of roses". She was BBC and had this trailing off voice, signing off with..... " and another day of death in Baghdad".

If there is another war- heaven forbid, the standards of WW2 should be applied. Either support it, or just shut the mouth. Let the armed forces get on with it.

Cry afterward.

The researchers conclude that the increases in attacks are a necessary cost of the way democratic societies fight wars and say they are concerned that the research may be seized upon by the Iraq war's supporters to try and silence its critics.

Critics? Perhaps congress can pass a bill to silence liars. Harry POS Reid can work on it in the Senate. John POS Murtha can work on it in the house. /sarcasm

The researchers conclude...

LOL!

Thanks for the ping, Chgogal.
