HQ gives directive for N.C. voters (Straight from Operation Chaos Commander-In-Chief)

OC Order: Don't Vote Early in NC
April 17, 2008

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT

There's a directive from headquarters for those of you in North Carolina. Early voting in North Carolina for the primary there on May 6th starts today. Early voting, North Carolina, starts today. I am asking, I am commanding all Operation Chaos operatives in North Carolina, do not vote early. This primary is too volatile. There's too much effervescence going on here. This campaign could change on a dime. You vote now instead of on Election Day on the 6th, your vote might not count. Hold your fire. You got plenty of time to vote on the actual Election Day, which is the 6th of May. So Operation Chaos orders from headquarters, for those of you operatives -- and I would suggest, by the way, for you in North Carolina who are Democrats and not even part of Operation Chaos, I would not vote early. Your vote may not count. As volatile as this is, as unsettled as it is, it's a long time between now and May 6th. You can change your mind three or four times between now and then. Be cool. Plenty of time to vote on Election Day.

I especially like it when Rush lets it be known that some Operation Chaos operatives have been selected to county and/or state democrat conventions and that some of them may even be present at the national in Denver.

Some might argue that Operation Chaos is a guarantee of the reactivation of the Fairness Doctrine if the Ds win in November.

It’s not a good thing to plant such ideas amongst such a paranoid crowd!!

Yesterday, a caller had a brilliant idea. The dems should dump both hil and obama and take the perfect moderate democrat candidate....
McCain!! LOL

If it weren’t for fearless leader Rush, conservatives would be wandering aimlessly in the political desert.

How so? Rush and we listeners ARE the fairness doctrine.

Do I need remind you that we would NOT be saddled with that flaming RINO McLame were it not for the Dhummies having done the same thing to us in the early primaries???

“How so? Rush and we listeners ARE the fairness doctrine.”

No you're not, not even remotely but that's not the point. The airwaves, unlike say a newspaper or arguably the Internet, are not private property but rather public property. Using public property to advance one political ideology over another, or better said, to the exclusion of the other is, again arguably, improper. Neither Limbaugh nor the owners of the stations he speaks on have an Constitutional right to those airwaves. They are public property and their use can be conditioned howsoever the government desires...like the use of a public forest or park or the funds of the Federal Reserve.

Generally in politics pay is a b*tch. If the Ds win in November, expect a “payback” to Limbaugh and the rest of the right wing talk show crowd. Its just the way it is. Maybe Limbaugh has figured this out and determined that the only hope he can stay on the air is to keep the Ds from winning since, as he and others have pointed out, the Fairness Doctrine the Ds want to restore spells the end of right wing talk radio because “balancing” will simply be uneconomical and market forces will “force” Rush and his fellows off the air.

The claim that the media “forced” (which it didn't, we simply didn't have viable candidates) execrable McCain on us is neither here nor there vis a vis the blow back from Operation Chaos.

Prior to the Communications Act of 1934, the airwaves were being treated just as land is. Those who claim it and use it first, are entitled to it.

The idea of the airwaves being Volkseigentum is a socialistic New Deal notion.

If Hillary wins, a good case could be made that it was because of Rush. Why would she want to pay him back?

Prior to December 1865, so were blacks. Socialistic Republican notion?
