The poster earlier in the thread posted a picture that said that the splinter FLDS group had the same founder as the mainstream LDS Church. So, if all splinter groups and offshoots have the same founder as the original sect, then doesn’t it follow that all Christian churches have the same founder, Pope Peter?

As I alluded to earlier in this thread, the general cultural refusal to enforce traditional criminal laws against fornication and adultery as antiquated relics of the past leads to a psuedo-omnipotent, overreaching, incompetent, unrestrained Nanny State arbitrarily trampling over the traditional protections of due process, societal dissolution, and the eventual loss of liberty. Well, in some cases it was admittedly a rough sort of frontier "justice", but even so, Missouri was made better off for it.
