Its Obama. Barring some unforeseen development, he'll be nominated this summer.

OMG how much money did Dean shovel to Russert to say ‘Obama will be the nominee’? This is what they WISH would happen. There is no forkin’ way Hillary quits. No way.

I would hate to underwrite his life insurance policy, given the way "things" seem to happen to enemies of the Clintons.
May he live a long and happy life. Just don't ask for me to bet on it.

Like the Hindenburg, she went down. My guess is she'll run again in 2012 if Obama isn't President. At we least we can be spared the sight of her on the national stage for awhile. This has been one of the strangest presidential election years I have seen in my lifetime.

Dude, stop tokin’ your weed and get off the boogie board.
I didn’t say that she is electable. I am saying there is no way she concedes based on tonite’s results. She’s going all the way to the convention. And that is exactly what I want to see. I want to see that convention totally in panic, and having the superdelegates have to pick the candidate, and fracture that party into a dozen splinters.

Sorry folks, I don’t see Hillary bailing after tonight. I’d only count her out if it was announced she had died and even then I’d do it cautiously.
To: Junior_G
I think there's a point when its just not possible to change the delegate math. That point has been reached and Hillary knows if she wants to run again in four years' time, creating a split in the party would only hurt her chances next time around. That is - assuming Obama loses in November.

This isn’t going to be pretty. I think Lil’ O is going to be the next president, and even if Lil’ O shoots himself in the foot often enough to hand the game to McCain (I don’t see McCain beating him otherwise) then all we get is McCain!
For all the Republicans thinking that Lil’ O is the going to be easy for McCain to beat, I ask them to think back on what happened the last time we put up an older war hero against a young, slick snake oil vendor...for that matter, look what W did to the Donk war “hero”.

It is true the superdelegates can vote for whoever they want. Declared or not.
I just don’t see her rolling over dead. Mathematical stats aren’t going to get in her way, they never have before. The superdelegates can theoretically keep this thing in play because they can change their minds. And if there is no clear winner after the first round of voting, then any delegates can vote any way they want in the next rounds.
This ain’t over. Fat lady ain’t warming up her pipes just yet. To underestimate her is to have learned nothing about her nature after all this time.

The delegate math has been against her for a long time now. But she’s probably realizing that if Obama’s strong friendships with anti-American racist preachers and admitted terrorist bombers don’t hurt his standing with Democrat voters, nothing will.

MSNBC: Clinton cancels all public appearances Wednesday
~~~~
Update: Russert updates MSNBC’s report about the cancellation, saying an open-press fundraiser scheduled for tomorrow will continue.
She was scheduled to be on every morning show tomorrow and has canceled them all. (Her campaign now says the appearances were never officially scheduled.)
Even if she “wins” Indiana, it will certainly be only because of pro-McCain voters.
Chuck Todd just said: “It may have ended tonight.”
Read the tea leaves.
Tim Russert is talking about Clinton’s withdrawal and says the race is over.
Here’s Tim Russert earlier in the evening talking about the approaching end-game:
Dems hate it when you use their tactics against them. It’s the Chicago Way. One of their guys whacks one of yours, you whack three of theirs. The friggin’ libs give you McCain, you give them Operation Chaos and make them gut themselves.
