Frum makes the case that a successful GOP candidate will be the one who returns to fiscal conservatism, reigning in out-of-control spending, even if he or she wanders off the reservation over an issue like illegal immigration.
You can't reign in out-of-control spending while allowing uncontrolled immigration (I didn't use the word "illegal" because it might not BE illegal anymore, after next Jan 20).
The continued influx of needy immigrants makes out-of-control spending impossible to reign in.

McCain/Clinton = pure fantasy.
Not gonna happen.
And Annie, girl, you should be all for it. After all, you’re for Hillary for Prez, so why not VP?

If McCain even hints at a McCain/Clinton ticket, to me it will be proof positive that we do not have a two-party system, but we have a one-party system working, and I will start looking for evidence that the heads of both parties have been or soon will be actually conducting joint meetings on the future (if one can call it a “future”) of the nation.
I do believe that the United States is now a one-party socialist democracy (mob rule). We need some real (genuinely Constitutional/Conservative third-party movement so that we can re-establish a two-party system.

Lets hope Sen. McCain doesnt choose to cross the road hand-in-hand with Sen. Clinton. Oh, why not? It would demonstrate the ultimate in bi-partisan cooperation, hands across the aisle, love thy liberal thinking.
Actually, Ms Coulter is correct. He would be stupid enough to do it.

If not Hillary... then we all know who his
second most likely 'Rat "friend" would be, insofar as potential VP running mates are concerned:
"Look, John: since I was willing to consider you as my VP back in '04, then it's only fair that you consider me for..." ;)
