WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Close-in supporters of Sen. Barack Obama's presidential campaign are convinced he never will offer the vice presidential nomination to Sen. Hillary Clinton for one overriding reason: Michelle Obama.
The Democratic front-runner's wife did not comment on other rival candidates for the party's nomination, but she has been sniping at Clinton since last summer. According to Obama sources, those public utterances do not reveal the extent of her hostility.
A footnote: Support is growing in Democratic ranks for Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland as vice president. He would bring to the ticket maturity (66 years old), experience (six terms in Congress) and moderation (rated "A" by the National Rifle Association). He is very popular in Ohio, a state Republicans must carry to elect a president.

Michelle’s a psycho moonbat bitch, but she ain’t crazy enough to urge her husband to become the next Ron Brown.
Strickland isn’t that popular in Ohio. The only thing Strickland has going for him is: He’s not Bob Taft.
Something tells me if this woman becomes First Lady she’ll make Hillary look like a shrinking violet. She already has an enormous chip on her shoulder and in the WH it will only grow larger with each passing day. Her skin is very, very thin.
That’s fine, an Obama ticket without a Hillary VP means millions of dem votes for McCain.
However, it is not paranoia when a black candidates wife openly broadcasts her hatred for everything white, whether including traditions or the constitution.
Obama and his crazy Cynthia McKinney look and act a like wife are more dangerous to America than Al Quieda.
He threw his Pastor under the bus...
If he'd throw his wife under the bus
he's got my vote!
For whatever reason, Ms. Obama has a personality that can only be described as "brittle."
For all her bluster, none of this intense public exposure can be at all healthy for her. It smells like the prelude to a tragedy for the Obama family.
The man needs a bigger bus
The wheels on the bus go round and round...
All this talk about an Obama/Hillary ticket....come Jan 21, it is likely that there would be an “incident”, which would leave Hillary as President. As much as I don’t like Obama, I’m pretty sure he isn’t stupid enough to have his rival as #2 on the ticket. He’d be looking over his shoulder so much, he’d be walking into walls and doors.
If he takes Hillary that means having Bill around too! I don’t think they would be loyal to the president, and you never know when they would do something to embarrass or undercut him. So I think he would be a fool to run with her. Of course he’s going to win NY anyway.
As far as Michelle goes, who ever would have thought we could have a first lady more annoying than Ter-AY-zah??
You would have thin skin too if you had been oppressed like she has been :)
No he isn't. He's brand new. He simply ran during the Taft scandal.
He's pro-gay, anti-life, pro-big government.
He cannot pick Hillary and be the candidate of change. And how could he possibly pick someone who has done everything she can to destroy him? That would not show a compromising spirit, that would just further show he is an idiot. He will pick an older white guy.
This must be a bitter pill for the first black president and his wife.
What Hillary needs is a concealed carry permit and a trip to church.
You would have thin skin too if you had been oppressed like she has been :)
How has she been oppressed??
I guess you didn’t see the smiley face after the sentence.
Please, enlighten us as to how she has been oppressed. She gets paid 300K+ for a nothing job. Some oppression.
Oh my goodness, I think I’ll have the admin moderator remove my post. Sometimes things are so obviously sarcastic, they don’t need an sarcasm tag, but I should have known better.
