The re-election prospects for Washington Governor Christine Gregoire (D) have improved significantly over the past two months. The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Washington voters shows Gregoire leading her Republican challenger, Dino Rossi, by eleven percentage points. Its Gregoire 52% Rossi 41%.
In late March, Gregoire was up by just a statistically insignificant single percentage point. In February, Rossi had a one point advantage. Four years ago, the 2004 election between the same two candidates was one of the closest elections in the states history.

The GOP seems to be on the down-trend. The dog days of summer will hopefully pick up after the weather cools.
I hope it changes but Rossi just isn’t out there. Gregoire has been all over the state doing her thing.
Dino would have to win by about 5-10 points to bridge the margin of fraud.
She’s a fraudulent governor.
“I hope it changes but Rossi just isnt out there. Gregoire has been all over the state doing her thing.”
Too true.
I have offered support to Rossi but all they want is money.
The polls don’t matter, it’s who gets to count the vote!
It was a telephone poll:
how many Republicans hang around to answer the landline?
Crime pays. Especially for thieving rodents.
Sounds like they have now begun polling dead people.
I’m a 19 year old conservative that works full-time and attends college full-time. I do not carry a cell phone nor have any desires to do so. Not everyone has one of those things growing out of the side of their head.
You joined FR when you were 9 ?!
Good catch.
For a moment, I thought I was detecting just the slightest whiff of ozone...
I inherited the moniker from my Dad. He passed away last fall. However, in my formative years I would read articles and posts (FR) while my Dad worked. I learned alot and actually improved my reading skills tremendously as well as learning (and practicing) the traits of a good conservative..
My condolences on your father. You said he was a former NH legislator ? You should send his biographical data to Lawrence Kestenbaum at this site: http://politicalgraveyard.com/ He’ll qualify to be listed there (if he isn’t already).
What a baffling statement. If you have a land line, why don't you have a cell phone? Unless you're a hermit, cell technology is probably most useful instrument ever invented. My cell phone has resulted in the apprehension of a hit-and-run driver (a Greyhound bus, no less), the reporting of multiple DUI drivers, and it has saved me when my car broke down on a desolate road. I have avoided missed appointments, received calls from my kids' schools when they were injured on the playground, and been pulled out of night school when my dad had a heart attack. Countless times, I have avoided inconvenience and tragedy ranging from the mundane to the very important due to my cell phone and phone camera.
Do you still ride a horse to work?
As a matter of fact I do...in addition to my 1953 Chevy pick-up my Dad and I restored. BTW...I'm working on a Bachelors Degree in Ranch Management @ Purdue University.
