Bill Clinton Has 'Never Seen a Candidate Treated So Disrespectfully Just for Running'
May 25, 2008 2:25 PM
ABC News' Sarah Amos reports: Former President Bill Clinton in South Dakota today delivered a harsh critique of how his wife has been treated during her presidential bid, telling the crowd that he has "never seen a candidate treated so disrespectfully just for running," and that, "she will win the general election if you nominate her. They're just trying to make sure you don't."
Clinton spent more than six minutes calmly discussing what he called a "frantic effort to push her out" of this race, saying that no one asked Ted Kennedy, Jesse Jackson or Gary Hart to end their presidential campaigns early.
Clinton also spoke against bullying superdelegates to make up their minds, saying, "I cant believe it. It is just frantic the way they are trying to push and pressure and bully all these superdelegates to come out. 'Oh, this is so terrible: The people they want her. Oh, this is so terrible: She is winning the general election, and he is not. Oh my goodness, we have to cover this up.'"

Waaaaah!
I’m with Bill on this one. I watched with horror as the media sliced and diced her for saying last week that “after all, Bobby Kennedy was assassinated in June” in reference to the timeline, the reason she’s staying in the race. He was in the race until June as were other candidates. But immediately she was called to task for a “major gaffe,” an insult to Saint Obama. How twisted is that?
Comrade Obama is not the only Democrat in danger of being assassinated by some idiot, so is Hillary. Of course it’s on her mind.
Atta boy there Willie.
Compare your wife’s campain to that of “Chappaquidick” Teddy, “Hymie-town” Jesse and “Monkey Business” Gary.
If that doesn’t garner democrat sympathy, then I don’t know what will.
Vast left wing conspiracy?....
LOL!
O does he just figure there enough voters who are?
STD's must be rotting his brain
George W Bush would win that award hands down for being the most disrespected.
Of course, the Clinton's are used to having the MSM kiss their ring and it must be a shock to be treated like the grifters they are
You would think being compared to a liberal martyr like Bobby Kennedy would actually be a huge compliment to a democrat.
Obama gets in - messes up - and he'll still have the dem nomination for the next four years. At that point, a real conservative (yeah, our guys can learn) is elected by Republicans.
And Hillary is waaaaaay to old to run 8 years from now. A 70 year old man might pull off running, but not an almost 70 year old woman. Vote Obama - end the Clinton rule.

Hey slick, that stuff of being treated like a republican is a real bit**, ain’t it?
Then Mr. Clinton hasn’t been paying attention to the last two elections.
How does it feel Billy Boy?
It’s a battle of half-wits, this campaign; a race to the bottom (if one exists); an exploration of the envelope of spinelessness and stupidity.
Bill Clinton should be the last person to talk about treating anyone disrespectfully, just ask Paula Jones, Kathleen Wiley etc..
Speaking of Bill Clinton speaking, I saw a clip of an interview with him on one of the Sunday Morning talk shows and I could swear his nose had a "clear cap" on it. Has he had surgery on his nose lately, ala Michael Jackson or is he hiding the results of nose candy?
