According to the NRA, Howard Cain, the alleged killer, was arrested 27 times for illegal possession of a gun, but he had only 3 convictions. All three suspects were on parole when the bank was robbed.

"There's no legitimate argument by the NRA, they need to get in the real world where the rest of us live..." The last thing I want in life is to live in the "real world" where you live, Mayor Nutter.
You see, the problem is the PEOPLE WHERE YOU LIVE. Everyone in Georgia has a gun and we don't have these problems.
I LIVE IN THE REAL WORLD. Nutter lives in Killadelphia. Maybe the city should apologize to the family of the slain officer for their murderous residents.

Democrat mayors and governors cannot stand for forceful criminal control and imprisonment for lawbreakers. If they did, many of their electorate would be unable to vote for them because they would be in jail (and their families wouldn’t vote because they would be angry that a relative was in prison). No criminals, no votes, no democrat elected officials - it’s as simple as that.

I think makes it pretty clear to anyone who is confused about this issue that there’s no reason for any citizen, any person other than in law enforcement or in the military to have such a weapon.”
I don’t think so.

The guy’s REAL name is “Nutter?”
You really CAN’T make this stuff up, can you?

"I think it's insane," Nutter said. "The fact that we put forward a piece of legislation to prevent the sale and use and transfer of assault weapons and have a Philadelphia police officer assaulted on the streets with one, I think makes it pretty clear to anyone who is confused about this issue that there's no reason for any citizen, any person other than in law enforcement or in the military to have such a weapon."
If he had been killed with a croquet mallet, would Nutcase claim they should be restricted to the LEOs and the military?

what a pussy. He promised to search black men on the street to find all these illegal guns. Now his policy is to ban everybody else from owning them.

The mayor is an idiot. As long as the police and military have such weapons, the people need to have them as well. The second amendment ensures that the power is in the hands of the people against all enemies, foreign and DOMESTIC.

If Nutter wanted to stop gun violence, he’d get tough on crime. Maybe he’s afraid some of his relatives would go to jail.

This screwhead mayor was blaming the NRA before the slain cops body was even cold and before the shooter was apprehended. Didn’t even mention the failure of the criminal justice system that let the cretin walk.
Nutter is a disgrace.

After all, if it had been the law, those 3 guys would have been too scared to show up at the robbery armed with illegal weapons...they would have carried rubber chickens and hula hoops and bubbles for the kids.

"Nutter recently signed five local gun bills into law, including one that would outlaw the possession and sale of certain assault weapons."
"...into law?" That's into "ordinance." Municipals are getting a little too big for their breeches, thanks to lack of resistance against the various municipal lobbies. Not that it will matter so much, after a few more Middle East nations have their nukes (due to further lack of opposition from our Nation against those activities).

I think it's insane for a person to believe that one who would violate a law against murder would hesitate one instant in violation of a law against a gun of any sort. Tell me where I'm wrong.
I think it's insane for an official to violate Federal and State law to establish his own desires to be enforced by "might makes right" to expect any citizen to follow any law whatsoever.
Mayor Nutter's arrogance and attitude make it all the more urgent for the law abiding citizen to own assault weapons. He is a disgrace.
