MEMORIAL WEEKEND 2 - God Bless Our Fallen Warriors: Wk 124, Olney,MD 5-24-08: Op. Infinite FReep
June 2,2008

Posted on 06/02/2008 4:46:48 PM PDT by trooprally

The Big Flag was out once again for the old Memorial Day Weekend. Some how having Memorial Weekend so far out of sync with Memorial Day seems wrong.

God Bless Our Fallen Warriors, Our Heroes

The roll call of our 8 Patriots included Legionnaire Glenn (USMC - WWII), Legionnaire Dave (Army - WWII),Lurker Bill, Cindy_True_Supporter, Fraxinus, Sensei Ern, {Mrs} Trooprally, aka [Mrs] T, and myself, [Mr] T.

Pics are by [Mrs] T.

BELOW LEFT: McKinney (R - MD) Supporter, me, Sensei Ern, Dave, Cindy_True_Supporter and Fraxinus. The McKinney supporter said he’ll be back in a couple of weeks. I wish we had one less RINO for every person who said that and never showed up. But we still hold out HOPE that peoples attitudes will CHANGE and they will start showing their support for our troops. BELOW RIGHT: Fraxinus holding one of our many flags this true Memorial Day Weekend with me waving to a passing supporter.

For a long time it was just like a lot of Saturdays in ‘06, the Fantastic Four (Lurker Bill, Cindy_True_Supporter, [Mrs] T and myself) against superior numbers of moonbats - they had 8 today. But we over came their numbers by having might and right on our side. The other four of our group soon came and by 11 we had equal numbers. Early FReepers: BELOW LEFT: Cindy_True_Supporter shouting her support for our troops. BELOW RIGHT: Lurker Bill.

BELOW LEFT: Legionnaire Glenn. BELOW RIGHT: Something we see often, a supporter clapping their approval. We also had several salutes and many honks, waves and thumbs up. The storm clouds and thunder were moving in quickly. The moonbats “cut ‘n ran” 10 minutes early. Once they were out of sight we broke down. Their “cut ‘n running” early was a blessing for us. It started pouring and we just threw the last of our stuff into Lurker Bill’s vehicle. Westminster’s Freep wasn’t so lucky. It rained steadily the whole time. RockerMom2MyHero will be writing the AAR for Westminster. I wonder if she’ll write about the umbrella that rained under it - HeeHee

A few of our passing supporters.

While last week I didn’t mention the moonbats out of honor for our brave fallen heroes, this week we’ll have some fun with them. The circus sign is from the Rotary Club’s Olney History Monument on the southeast corner of the intersection.

Thanks for the AAR and pics. I’m thinking that you guys are going to qualify to be postmen before long. Through sleet & snow, rain, or hail, you will support the U.S. Male (soldier). Okay, okay, so I’m not a poet. I appreciate yose guys anyway.

You forgot to put something in there about our shorts. Must be old hat now, seen one pair of legs, you’ve seen them all.

And you are welcome from the Olney crew.

Hooray they are finally labeled. Circus is great, only the clowns do not know that they are the show!

Nice weather, legs, signs, T-shirts and people!

Thanks guys!

Great job, Olney gang as usual. The Circus is Here with the moonbats under it! That’s funny! You don’t even have to pay to see it! It’s much better to see you fine patriots rather than those clowns. Keep up the great job!

Legs - was nice of you to wear your shorts to Westminster. Shorts don’t cling to you like pants from all that rain! Will I mention that umbrella? Hmm, you will have to wait until later on today/evening. My AAR is just about ready. Enjoyed your AAR and pictures. Thanks for all you do.

Yep - Thanks to the Rotary Club, it was easy.

Weather is finally getting warm. I really do like the warm weather better than the cold.

I figured I was going to get the first jab in this week. With [Mrs] T's circus photoshopping I was anxious to get this out.

Glad you were so anxious and got [Mrs] T’s circus photoshopping out. That was classic!

Your 1st jab will be a good lead into my AAR, which is coming up soon!

Nope. Not thawed out yet. I’m still freezing. However, “they” say that the hot weather is due to arrive on Thursday. It’s about time. I am so ready for it.

Too bad Thursday wasn't a few days ago. Keep warm in the mean time.

Just so you don't feel too bad, check out Westminster's FReep.
