Yes. It can be retroactive, I believe.

I don't believe so. After he leaves office you can't remove him from office. I am open to someone posting the rules of the game. I think all you can do is put him in prison which they should have done with the last one for selling pardons. Apparently, you can't do anything to a president for accepting bribes or pandering for votes by pardoning someone.

Obama is every bit as far-left as Kookcinich. The leftwing Demagogues do a kind of “good cop, bad cop” with the public — they have rabid in-your-face leftists like the excremental Kookcinich play their Michael Moore style propaganda pieces, while “stealth” leftists like Obama pretend to be more reasonable and decent.

The only real differences between Obama and Kookcinich are:

1) skin pigmentation

2) level of honesty (Kookcinich at least is relatively honest about his demented beliefts - Obama is a lying fraud socialist)

3) eloquence — Obama is Dennis Kookcinich with a better scriptwriter and a more dynamic presentation from the teleprompter.

Other than those 3 points these 2 are really interchangeable — the challenge is to get the American public to see this.

When I was in the military a retired Navy Senior Chief (E-8) was court martialed for sexual harrassment and busted down to an E-6. If you’re receiving a government retirement check, I believe the U.S.Congress can do anything it wants to punish you. IMHO.

Please, is there a Constitutional lawyer out there who can address this problem? How about Congressman BillyBob?

Some one will jump in. Receiving a pension for being president is not connected to removing him from office ex post facto. IMHO.

I used to see that guy almost every day when I worked downtown. He switches up the signs weekly. I really liked his “Impeach Taft” sign.

You got that right. He is a nut.

He's a fool. The real nuts are the people in Ohio who year after year continue to vote for this man. It is not the politician who is the problem, it is the voters.

If Bush is found guilty, will Kucinich demand he be sent to Prison Planet Goolagg?

Apples and Oranges.

The retired naval officer was court martialed by the military, not Congress. He was reduced in rank as a military punishment, even though retired. That is the way of things in the military.

A former US President cannot be impeached by the House and tried or convicted by the Senate when no longer in office. Remember the punishment phase after conviction by the Senate is removal from office. You can’t be removed from an office you don’t hold. It’s a civilian process, not military.

And Congress has no constitutional authority to impeach and convict and remove from office an EX President. Only a sitting one.

Hello ~

Apparently, from what I am reading, there are a few individuals on this forum that do not understand Congressman Dennis Kucinich and what he represents.
Dennis has written two books that can help with this.
And before I write on I will introduce myself.

I am Deborah Marchant’ and I am a precinct delegate for Dennis in Washington State, and a former and official Washington State Outreach Coordinator for his 2008 campaign. And I am not here to make anyone wrong. We can all be right. And I ask that those who are here please respect the man because he is doing compassionate deeds that can benefit us all. Thank you and I hope life is well for you all here.

Peace, Deborah Marchant’
Shoreline, Washington
