Here's an odd Obama controversy I hadn't yet heard about. Apparently, the Lamb of Chicago has not released his Hawaii birth certificate despite several media requests. Jim Geraghty thinks it would end several persistent rumors concerning his birth.
Although Geraghty makes some good points, Exurban League's research interns have uncovered several reasons Obama is keeping it under wraps.

Are freepers missing the point? The birth certificate lists the father’s ETHNICITY which his family proudly claims is not negro but ARABIC. Kenyan records list BHO senior as an Arab. Baraq is not a negro African-American any more than Klinton was.
The smart comment was directed to the fact she always gets what she wants. She is very smart on the end game. I would not count her out until Nov.

I agree that he's not releasing the info for a reason. I just reject the whole "he's not a natural born citizen" nonsense on the grounds that the argument makes no sense.

Obama has the whole Chicago mob machine behind him. He can manipulate recent records, such as his name on the marriage certificate, just as he likes. In fact just about anyone can fake such records. It’s common in America for people to change their names or drop a middle name just because they don’t like it.
Obama should not be allowed to run for president unless he can prove he is an American. That means, at the very least, making his birth records public and his parents’ marriage records public, since even by his own account that marriage is in doubt.

You are correct. The non-citizen stuff is a diversion. I'm pondering what would be the effect of the news that Obama is not negro. And that his father's family was slavers. Would he lose any black vote? Would he gain hispanic vote?

1)Obama’s momma may not have been legally married to Obama’s Father who already had a wife.
2)Obama may have been born in Kenya as reported by African new sources.
3)According to the law of the land at that time that would make Obama illegitimate and quite possibly even a stateless person according to our laws.
Did Obama’s Mother apply for a Birth certificate after returning to Hawaii when he was born in Kenya if so he may be only a naturalized citizen based upon existing law at that time rather then present law that does not cover him.

Heck this is pretty minor given the fact that Hillarys (Wretched piece of crap that it is) College Thesis didn’t even appear online (in PDF form) until 2 years ago. HE has no choice but to give this up. It really sounds preposterous that it hasn’t been released yet.
I found the article of great interest, worthy of both discussion and research. In fact I was up until 2 am reading. I still do not know that laws but am still interested.
I do know there Barak Hussain Obama has a reason for not showing it. I also think those reasons are very sinister.
Many theories have arisen, each are suspicious in themselves.
1) There could have been a law on the books that would
eliminate his chances, we just don't know.
2) His name on his Birth Certificate could read BARRY Durham
since mom and pop could not have been legally
married. Therefore changing his name later when
he became a Muslim.
3) He is listed as an ARAB and not a Black.
4) Perhaps he was indeed born in Kenya and not HI.
All issues are not of particular interest to everyone but this one has been for many. No need for the attacks.
This nonsense as you call it pertains to the most important political process our country undergoes every four years and the qualifications of the man who maybe our next president. As Citizens we have the right to know what kind of man we may be voting for or if he is even eligible for the position of president.
Just wanted to add my two cents and say that this is an issue and the people should know ALL there is to know about a candidate for POTUS. I don’t understand your passion in wanting everyone to ignore this issue of the birth certificate.
Call it anti-passion rather than passion; I've witnessed too many wild goose chases based on flawed information and presumptions that I'm very, very cynical in this regard. I think the "he's not eligible hysteria" is just that, hysteria, based on an interpretation of a snippet of a law that makes no sense the way it is interpreted.
I do believe he's hiding something, and the birth certificate would show it.
And your first responsibility is to determine if you even know what you're talking about. Going on a half-baked theory proposed by a blogger who references a snippet of law is no substitute for doing the research into the law itself.
If you think there's something to this, then do the research. As for me, as I said, the blogger's theory doesn't pass the "smell test" in that it is nonsensical to think that the child of a natural born citizen isn't a natural born citizen simply because his parent wasn't 21 years old.

You and every one of the other one of the “Let’s Not go there” crowd have been telling anyone that dares to ask, shut up and don’t ask about his qualifications for the jobs. I agree it is a snippit of some law and is probably wrong but until it has been determined to be wrong or the document in question has been examined how will anyone know the facts if they don’t determine what is fact and what is fiction.
As with any process of elimination first we must have all the possibilities before us and slowly and methodically eliminate them one by one. Your method of doing so is to ignore everything and focus on other issues. Since that is apparently what you are best at I suggest you do so.
