Top Ten Reasons Obama Won't Release His Birth Certificate

Here's an odd Obama controversy I hadn't yet heard about. Apparently, the Lamb of Chicago has not released his Hawaii birth certificate despite several media requests. Jim Geraghty thinks it would end several persistent rumors concerning his birth.

Although Geraghty makes some good points, Exurban League's research interns have uncovered several reasons Obama is keeping it under wraps.

10. Despite the claims of his supporters, it was not technically a virgin birth.

8. Actual birth date would reveal he's a Virgo, and those people are %#&*@! CRAZY.

Really and how am I supposed to do the research if I don’t even ask the question?

How can you ask the question if you're unwilling to do the research.

You and every one of the other one of the “Let’s Not go there” crowd have been telling anyone that dares to ask, shut up and don’t ask about his qualifications for the jobs.

No, I'm saying show me that there's even a point before going down this road. As you say, it's "probably wrong". Isn't it best to determine what the truth of the relevant law is before dealing with discussion over how such a law would apply?

To put it another way, let's assume every potential supposition about Obama's birth certificate is true. We still haven't answered the key question of whether or not any of it matters -- only the research into what the law says (or in this case, said) would determine that.

Actually if every supposition about the birth certificate is true then:

1)Obama was born in Kenya or British southeast Africa (As African news sources are saying) and he should not be eligible because he was born outside the United States and outside the law as it stood then.

2)His name is not really Barack Obama because he never legally changed it except to the name that he was given in Indonesia when he was adopted.(would you vote for a candidate using an alias to run for president?)

3)His race maybe listed as white or Arab or other (certainly a great embarrassment to the Great Black Hope who isn’t even black to begin with)

4)He may not even have the necessary paperwork to prove he is a natural born citizen (he does however have paperwork to prove he was an Naturalized Indonesian citizen, his adoption papers and a passport as written in his book and Kenya even claims he is one of their citizens although they don’t say how or why they can make that claim)

5)The employees of an Obama supporter that were searching through his passport files “Berger”ized and sanitized them for public consumption in a watergate style electronic break in?

Certainly any one of these deserves questioning (and surely Obama should answer them) instead of the blanket ignore you would call upon the rest of us to do, so that we don’t go off on a wild goose chase you want nothing to do with to begin with.

Frankly it sickens me that as almost always the”cooler” heads want us all to ignore the obvious and take the “high” road and bury this issue, just like they did when it was suggested that he is Muslim, or marxist, or that we cannot say his middle name, or that we cannot question what goes on in his church, or figure out what his relationships with Ayer and Rezko or even comment on him riding around on a bike with a flat tire and a ridiculous probe hanging off the ass end of his seat, meanwhile some of the same “cooler” heads are savaging John McCain for things like being in the middle of the USS Forrestal Fire or actually Mutually divorcing his wife after they both were crippled during his stay in the Hanoi Hilton.

You ask for legal documents, I provided them now let them stand on their own merit and let others judge weather this line of questioning is warranted and quit trying to bully anyone that has these questions into silence.

By the same reasoning, John McCain is ineligible because he was born in Panama. Sorry, it doesn't wash -- his mother was a natural born US citizen.

There's nothing illegal about running under an alias, irrelevant.

Irrelevant to the discussion of his qualifications.

His birth mother is a natural born US citizen.

Could be for many reasons, most of which are irrelevant.

I'm not ignoring the obvious, I'm stating the obvious -- that no matter how worked up you get over this, the point still remains -- unless you can show me the law that says there are conditions where the child of a natural born citizen is not in turn a natural born citizen, then you're howling at the moon.

All of your "points" above are 100% irrelevant to Obama's Constitutional qualifications to the office.

Yes, he's clearly hiding something, and as such, it's probably quite embarrassing. But it's more embarrassing to rant about "concerns" over his qualifications when you don't even know if those concerns have any merit. You've provided nothing but a string of irrelevant details.

One last time (and I'm done responding on the subject unless/until this happens), do the research, or find someone who has done the research. Until then, it is no better than idle gossip.

6)The birth certificate has Obama listed as a Muslim.(Yeah I know he “converted” to the brand of Christianity The Nation of Islam supports)

7)the Name on it is “Barry Soetoro” and his father is listed as “Lolo Soetoro Mangunharjo” (Which quite honestly would take some explaining that those of his supporters that have the attention span of a gnat couldn’t stay awake through)

You think this is a race about issues, you’re wrong, this is a race about the Man to Obama’s supporters it doesn’t matter one Iota about the issues he is the Man. And if we won’t attack the Man for who or what he is we might as well concede right now because on the issues he says nothing with great emphasis.

McCain was born to two US citizens on a US Military installation, not quite the same thing, even so they were entitled to apply for a certificate from the local US Consulate to grant him native Born status even if he had been born in Panama.

Because of the possiblity that Obama is illegitimate the rules are different in that respect as I have shown in the case I linked to. Illegitimate children have a whole different set of guidelines concerning their possibility for citizenship, for instance the children of American Fathers must have acknowledgment and support from their father in order to claim it, while the Child of an American Mother must have his or her Mother located in the United States for a certain period of time as described by US law, You know that obscure snippet of the law that you kept seeing and complaining about.

Also as I have shown you in my link to a ruling on the matter Ignorance of the law is no excuse, you cannot say for instance I didn’t know I was supposed to reaffirm my American citizenship at eighteen which may be the case with Obama after he was granted Indonesian naturalized citizenship through the adoption process if he traveled anywhere on an Indonesian passport and did not reaffirm his American Citizenship (assuming he was a citizen to begin with) then using that Indonesian passport is tantamount to renouncing his American citizenship, natural born or naturalized.

Given that his Mother converted to Islam and had a certain hatred for the United States at the time it is entirely possible that he did travel using Indonesian documents and a passport and would be required to reaffirm his citizenship at eighteen.

Too obscure for the Average American? Tough! That is the law of the land, they should know if the man they may elect president is legally entitled to run for the office.
