Obama Plans Spending Boost

Sen. Barack Obama shed new light on his economic plans for the country, saying he would rely on a heavy dose of government spending to spur growth, use the tax code to narrow the widening gap between winners and losers in the U.S. economy, and possibly back a reduction in corporate tax rates. snip While Sen. McCain has argued that tax cuts -- particularly on business -- spur growth, Sen. Obama rejected that as flawed economics. "I've seen no evidence that...would actually boost the economic growth and productivity," he said.

Why is “government spending” never linked with “spending your tax money” and “wealth redistribution” by the drive-bys.

Just like he never heard Wright say anything racist or anti-American. What an idiot.

“I’ve seen no evidence that...would actually boost the economic growth and productivity,” he said.

God help us if this Marxist retard gets in.

Obama is a Keynesian socialist. He is the marxist
who could’nt close the deal on America in the 1930’s

Did’nt this empty suit realize that spending does not create growth? taxes are a cost and decrease income?

Sen. Obama cited new economic forces to explain what appears like a return to an older-style big-government Democratic platform skeptical of market forces. "Globalization and technology and automation all weaken the position of workers," he said, and a strong government hand is needed to assure that wealth is distributed more equitably.

No moron, staying in school and learning a trade strengthens the position of workers.

Who has more skill: a man with a pick axe or a backhoe operator?

Who earns more?

Who is in greater demand?
