Yeah, I guess it was kind of rhetorical. When I say things like that in this context the question I’m actually asking is “What in the Constitution authorizes this?” and relating to parties it’s “Did no one here read Washington’s farewell address?”

However even General Washington eventually got beaten down by the Hamilton-Adams/Jefferson-Madison rush to coalesce around political ideologies. Washington allowed himself and his image to become the face of the strong central government/central bank Federalist Party of Hamilton.

Didn’t they just file a lawsuit over McCains’s doing the same exact thing?

Seriously? I missed that, double standards I guess. Do you happen to have any links?

Yep, it started going downhill pretty quick, until the parties were basically able to vote themselves into being the government.

Like I said before, I would not call 4 points a lead at all, at a minimum it means a tie when you factor in the margins of error and the Most Likely To Vote group, as well as the “Bradley/Wilder/Obama Effect.” Yes, I said the Bradley/Wilder/Obama Effect, because that was proven during the primaries.

It's a lead, which McCain doesn't have. You can hope all you want for the Wilder effect, but when the Dems get in the voting booth, party matters more than race in the general elections. Michael Steele, Lynn Swann, and Ken Blackwell found that out. McCain is using the same tactic on conservatives. He believes we have no choice but to vote for him no matter what positions he takes on issues. He is going to be surprised about how many of us will not vote for him or give him money or volunteer for his campaign.

McCain is currently winning 72% of the evangelical vote (see Washington Post Poll),

Turnout is the key, not polls. Obama has a more energized base. Black turnout is going to set records, which will have an impact in such states as VA, which is 20% black. McCain is losing among Hispanics despite his pandering. And McCain has turned off much of the Rep base who won't even go to vote.

No, and if I was McCain I’d go to Iraq right before the messiah’s scheduled visit and congratulate the troops (and my Marine son) on a job well done. I can assure you McCain’s Iraq welcome will be very boisterous and genuine, not scripted and staged.

Reps support the war, but it will be an overall negative for McCain. The war is unpopular among most of the public and it identifies and ties McCain more closely to Bush who has some of the lowest favorability ratings of any US Presiident in history. The Dems are promoting the idea that voting for McCain is voting for a third Bush term.

Here is a brand new poll from Fox right off the presses, it states everything I discussed as reality, and if you take the time to read all the sub questions you’ll find out how truly wrong you are. Facts are facts, and by the way, the Bradley/Wilder/Obama Effect is reality, it’s been proven (Black dem candidates), and you can take it or leave it. By the way, who did you support in the primaries?

The Black vote didn’t carry Wilder to victory in 1989, I’m originally from Charlottessville, I voted in that election, did you? Wilder ran as a conservative, not as an extreme liberal like Obama. You spout many generalities just like Obama fans and the MSM, but very few if any specifics. I like talking reality, not hopes and dreams. Read the Fox Poll. McCain wins VA by 6 points.

Good for Obama and too bad for McCain; this is strange, shouldn’t the statist socialist candidate (Obama) be the one taking public money, and shouldn’t the capitalist, free market conseravtive be the one opting out on principle? McCain is stealing taxpayer money like the rest of the RINOs in Washington, while the socialist Obama is not. What a strange world we live in. To heck with either of them.

> Mr. Sinclair was arrested immediately after his Press Conference at the National Press Club by supposed U.S. Marshals...and whereabouts are unknown maybe in Delaware.

Yes, because he is a wanted felon with warrants out for his arrest. And oh yeah, guess what, he failed the lie detector test about this, too. He’s a mentally ill attention whore criminal. Sheesh.

Honestly, I think we can do better to fight the socialist messiah than to prop up ridiculous whacko garbage like this and the so-called “Whitey” tape, don’t you? Is this all that’s in our arsenal? If so, that is dang pathetic. And we will look pathetic if this is what we hit Obambi with, instead of coming out with the TRUTH of how he is going to kill the freedoms of this country.

Wake up and get truthin’. And stop hanging on to voyeuristic scandal fantasies. Not helping.

McCain is toast unless Obama destroys himself.

McCain has angered his base, and doesn't have the messiah draw to grab the wish washy emotional independents. The GOP may cease to be a major part after this election.

“Oh gee, let’s see, McCain is down 3 points in today’s Rasmussen daily poll, and 4 points in the latest Washington Post poll, in fact he’s ahead of the messiah in the Washington Post poll’s Most Likely To Vote catergory. Obama should be ahead by 10 - 12 points, especially if the Repub party in such tatters as you describe. The McCain strategy of keeping the messiah on the defensive and challenging him with specifics is sound, effective and is working. Here is a link to some polls you should check out, then again I could care less if you don’t:”

Thanks for the update.

This is really a win/win for us.
Save our money on McCain, spend it on SEnate candidates instead, and get the Taxpayers to help out.

NObama campaigns should sprout like weeds to defeat this no-accomplishment elitist leftist.
