For some time now Just One Minute's commenter jmh, Polarik at Townhall and others have examined the "birth certificate" for Obama published on the Daily Kos site as well as the site Obama has established to respond to the "smears" against him.
The documents are not identical and seem obviously phony.
Israeli Insider confirms their suspicions:
It is now a certainty that the "birth certificate" claimed by the Barack Obama campaign as authentic is a photoshopped fake. (snip)

Janice Okubo, Director of Communications of the State of Hawaii Department of Health, told Israel Insider: "At this time there are no circumstances in which the State of Hawaii Department of Health would issue a birth certification or certification of live birth only electronically." And, she added, "In the State of Hawaii all certified copies of certificates of live birth have the embossed seal and registrar signature on the back of the document."
Why would Obama's anti-smear site itself rely on a phoney birth certificate? I can't imagine . Some have suggested it's to hide the fact that he was not a "natural born" U.S. citizen and is, therefore, ineligible to run. Maybe.

This is by far the easiest thing to clear up. If I can get my son a birth certificate for his little league wouldn’t you think that the nominee of the Democrat Party could get one to show his apologizers in the MSM?

“Senator Obama, there has been a concensus among computer graphics experts that the birth certificate posted on your website is a fake and certainly not an official document issued by the State of Hawaii. When one searches public archives there is no record of you being born in Hawaii or of a marriage between your parents. In addition, two websites list two different hospitals as your hospital of birth. People are asking if you indeed were born here or in Kenya as it has been reported that your relatives at one time contended to the media that you were born in Kenya. We support your legal right to run for the office of President of the United States providing that you meet the natural born citizenship requirements. Unfortunately, Sir, there is the appearance here that you are hiding something regarding your birth record and pedigree. We therefore, respectfully ask that you release your original birth certificate and hospital records to the public. If you choose to refuse please give the American public the reason why”

This is a fake controversy meant to suck us in and discredit us, ala the Michelle Osama “whitey” fraud.
So at the least, Obama is perpetrating public deception.
Then why not post the threads of the real controversies so we can look them over.

When my birth certificate arrived, it had a nice well defined embossed seal on it. After a few years of sitting in a file with high humidity (I used a whole house fan at night), the seal is darn near impossible to detect.

Yes. It is consistent with other date stampped certificates.
The document does originate from within the Hawaii Dept. of Health. But it is not complete. It is not signed, and does not bear an embossed certification stamping.
Are you saying you can't find anything real to object to about Obama, so you are resorting to things that are as likely to bite you in the ass as not?
Hint: You might look at his Social Security "reform," Iraq surrender plans, tax increases, his desire to increase the price of gas even higher as a response to high gas prices...

I have looked at all of those. As far as I can tell, 99% of FR realizes what a commie dirtbag Obama is. Therefore, we need to make an impact by examining his pathetic history, of all his history, not just that approved for examination by you.

I agree. Also the fake lists dad’s race as “African” with mom as “Caucasian”. In 1961, I doubt African would be used. Probably “black” if not “negro”. Perhaps it is actually “Arab”. Hopefully, the truth will out and the fact that his campaign is posting a fake. It is getting some more coverage and Clarice Feldman has bona fides....

Even if Obama comes out with a real doc that contains the identical information, he gets SLAMMED due to perpetrating FRAUD and DECEIT on the American people. Yes, I know the KoolAid drinkers won't care, but that IS NOT who the battle is for. it's for the middle. And right now many older school dems just don't trust Obama. That has come out in exit interview after exit interview.

My opposition to Obama is also founded on the proposition that he really doesn't stand firmly for anything I do support--he abstains on most of the difficult legislative issues; he has changed his position on issues like Israel; troops in Iraq; and other questions on which his original opposition to consensus voter views is clear and would have threatened his candidacy.
But--it begins to look to me as though the original interview with the woman he refers to as his grandmother and with his half siblings in which they are quoted as having been present at the time of his birth in Kenya is in fact correct.
Which in turn also infers that he is not legally qualified to be President of the United States for the reason that he is not a natural born citizen. He flunks the natural born even though his mother was a citizen because she was his only citizen parent and she had not resided in the United States for the period required to make her offspring natural born.
Now maybe there is additional evidence on this point to be found however instead of publishing fake documents and restricting access to original records, the Obama campaign needs to step up and assist in the process of developing such evidence.

If you look at the Constitution...I think there is different requirements to be a US Senator. If your naturalized you can hold a Senate seat but must be in this country for 15 years or something like that.
