Awww man, and I thought my concise and well thought out post would win you over. I’m shocked!! Shocked I tell ya!!
All he has to do is let it set on his desk and it becomes law without his signature. Then he can say he didn’t sign it and the blame is on the legislature.

90 days a year.
It's not like anyone has been keeping it secret.

How the hell can you attract the best and brightest to any endeavor when you pay them so little?
What hard working honest man or woman with a family is going to want to go draft laws when the pay is at the poverty level???
Back plain is deteriorating fast.
At any point during Blanco’s administration did you yourself pursue or push a recall of her? If so, please point to posts here at FR to validate.
Because I live and breathe my friend, because I live and breathe.
Not from Louisiana here, but seems to me that by what I’ve been reading there is every possibility that Landrieu(s) are doing similar tactics to what I think I see Hillary doing to Obama. Lobbing stink bombs at Jindal and the Republicans from a Camouflage covered pit. No Democrats for recall would be my first clue.
Doing their >No Republican left behind< thing.
You are talking sense again. The blind here though will ignore it. They want Democrats and corruption.
I spent Mon and Tue of this past week in LA and had plenty of time to listen to local talk radio.
Prior to this, I had a pretty positive opinion of Jindal.
But, wow, was I surprised! Now methinks Jindal has done gone and screwed the pooch.
Apparently he’s not nearly as intelligent as I thought he was.
From a national perspective I have been expecting the Dems and the drive-by media to wage a war on Jindal simply he is an up and coming prospect for conservatives. The demonization will get much worse.
Investigation, indictment, trial, and jail would be my suggested solution to corruption. Not a pay raise.

Recall petition filed against Gov. Bobby Jindal

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - The Louisiana Secretary of State’s Elections Division says it has received a recall petition for Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal.
The move comes amid Jindal’s refusal to veto a pay raise for state legislators.
Forcing a recall election against Jindal will be a tough task.
It would require verifiable signatures from well over 900,000 registered Louisiana voters.
“The voters of our state are angry that the legislature more than doubled their own pay and I agree with them,” Governor Bobby Jindal said when asked for reaction to the petition. “It was excessive and they should reverse it. I’m sure more voters will take extraordinary steps to show their anger over the pay raise before this is all said and done - that’s how a democracy works,” Jindal said.
A news release from the Election’s Division did not indicate who filed the petition.
