Perhaps John Kerry and the New York Times should have adhered to the old adage to let sleeping dogs lie. It appears the Times' Kate Zernike used Kerry campaign talking points rather than the facts in her breathless account of how the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth "smeared" John Kerry over his Vietnam record during the 2004 presidential campaign. In her 1,283-word "Veterans Fight to Reclaim the Name 'Swift Boat,'" Zernike came across as a Kerry campaign spokesman rather than as an independent journalist.

Let’s see Kerry’s original discharge and his DD 214. He still has not released them to the public.

You know, I heard Kerry on the radio this morning, droning on about something and he has not changed a single bit. He has not learned anything, and he is still the arrogant, condescending gasbag that he has always been. It was a horrible flash-back.

Kerry served himself in Vietnam. He showed up, made a short film clip of his “heroics”, was severely injured, getting not one but THREE Purple Hearts, and then took off for the states to smear the troops and give aid and comfort to the enemy. That the Democrats had the audacity to nominate him for the Presidency and the jerks of our country voted for him in great numbers is one of the lowest points in our country’s history. ONE DISGUSTING PARTY, THE DEMOCRATS!!

Obama is gutting himself. It takes time for all the details to make the rounds.

Sarcasm, Tiger. His “wounds” were anything but severe. I must learn to show an “on-off” sarcasm symbol.

Sorry. The rest of your post wasn’t sarcasm so I didn’t recognize it. I figured that some people probably do assume he received some serious injury.
