Global warming has ended - a new climate era of pronounced cold weather has begun.

An important prediction available from the RC theory states that there will be a major drop in the sun's activity measured by an historic reduction in sunspots and other indicators of the sun's behavior. Accompaning this lower state of the sun called a 'solar minimum' by the solar physics community, will be a prolonged cold era according to the SSRC. This next climate change to many years of a slowly cooling Earth environment, is predicted by the SSRC to begin within the period 2010 to 2021 with lowest temperatures during the bottom around the year 2031. The SSRC refers to this dramatic change in climate as a 'solar hibernation' because of the depths of cold that are associated with it based upon many hundreds of years of repeating cycles with similar recorded cold eras, as discovered by the SSRC.

This coming solar minimum has now been confirmed by direct observations of the sun's behavior and has been announced separately by other leading scientists and NASA (though on a differing schedule).

Right now I don't know if these people are egotistical or just plain stupid.

Could it be that they are egotistical and just plain stupid? Yes, I think that's it!! A powerful combination, and well aligned with the MSM ...

Is this a real organization?!

Sounds like a Global Warmers "see they'll believe anything" hoax to me.

Sorry for being skeptical, but I just think anyone who KNOWS FOR SURE how the weather will be in 50 years is kind of, sort of, full of it....especially Al Gore.

Central California just broke all sorts of record high overnight minimums this week. Records were broken by 5 degrees or more in lots of places.

The Central Valley can get brutally hot sometimes during the summer. Overall we appear to be experiencing a mixed bag summer. Cold in some places, while hot in others. Next summer may be a different story, depending on how brutal our winter will be. If solar cycle 24 remains stalled, we could enter another La Nina or at least have lots of precipitation in the same places where it occurred last winter.

I did a “whois” search for the web site...it seems to be expiring next month....this smells fishy...

Created on..............: Sat, Nov 10, 2007
Expires on..............: Sun, Aug 10, 2008
Record last updated on..: Thu, Jul 10, 2008

also, the web site “owner” has a “juno” email address.

Again, sorry if this is a real site, but I am exceedingly skeptical.

So why isn’t the liberal mainstream media reporting that?

As soon as they figure out how to use the fear of a new Ice Age to drum up support for much higher taxes and coercive Marxist social engineering, you can be certain they will.

AL GORE STOPPED GLOBAL WARMING!

Don't you know it. I was thinking the same thing. Sometime soon after cooling is acknowledged, you will hear a pinhead global warmist say: "See, it's working."

There is no telling where the delusion that the global warming crowd ended the warming cycle with their carbon schemes will take us.

Lol, if you’re going to be enamored by “who” is providing information rather than the data you will always be behind the curve. I’m not saying that you lack reason or anything just that your mind is pw3nd.

Its fun to read the comments and comedy. I like the “Gore-Hansen Minimum”. Unfortunately, the alarmists can easily spin around on a dime, predict the dire consequences of “Global Cooling”, ignore the fears of warming, and continue on as if the last three decades never happened. There will be predictions of famine and death from crop failures, frozen heartland wheat fields, and a world without summers. The solutions will be the same: world government control of energy, and taxes.

Global warming is so 2007. Thinking people use the term climate change.
Climate change covers all of the sins of Bush/Cheney, etc..

Gee, who would have thought that global temperatures are controlled by the sun. Somebody better tell Al Gore.

As noted above, they aren't the only ones saying this.

Indeed. I visit http://www.icecap.us/ frequently.

I can’t find it. It might have been on WeatherUnderground, but they only keep up the daily information (as near as I can tell). It might have been in the Merc. It was Tuesday or Wednesday this week.

Might be good for AM band DX though.

It's not bad now, sometimes when 104.7 FM here in Pittsburgh has Pirate games on, they put Michael Savage on after the game and that usually pre-empts the first hour of George Noory. Well, I then use my old 8 transistor Magnavox from 1965 to listen to him out of Youngstown, OH on 570 kc (WKBN). However, many a night, I hear "Radio Reloj" in Cuba "walking over" WKBN's signal so I turn to his affiliates out of Cleveland, Richmond, VA, Windsor, ON, etc. The little "Maggie" in a good radio, once got a 1000 watt station out of Texas on it.

There is a study done where what would happen under a sunspot minimum with radio, some say long distance communications might only be possible at night on the lower shortwave or medium frequency bands, you's be lucky to be able to get long distance on the 80 meter ham radio band (3500 - 4000 kilocycles), some say lower than that around 1800 - 2000 kilocycles, the amateur 160 meter band just above the AM band. Some even say 1200 kilocycles in the AM band itself. I have a link to the website about a book where a West Virginia town gets sent back in time and place to 1632 Germany during the Thirty Years War where this has been discussed.

One more thing, I do remember talking to some “old-timers” who lived in Alaska back in the 1830’s and 1940’s where they remember radio stations always saying that “we will bring you the news and music as conditions permit” since the Northern Lights sometimes interfered with AM radio.

Think of the cost to future generations of amateur radio enthusiasts! You guys are so, like prescient...

We need action now. I'm thinking maybe a cap and trade system on Hydrogen so we can conserve Protons for injection into the Ionosphere!

Art,

Hang in there. I come here to get a dose of reality, because it’s unreal out there.

I call my reps in DC regularly, but I can see they are further and further out of touch with regular Americans, and it makes me wonder how everyone managed to sell out so thoroughly.

This Presidential election is Exhibit #1. Yikes!

It seems the government has to ruin everything it touches.

And medical care is next on the list.

It would be nice if the Bishops would stick to their knitting and excommunicate a few pro-abort politicians and defend the faith, instead of worrying about communal health care.
