Vanity: Google buries disputed Barack Obama Birth Certificates - they are gone from index
Google | 07/11/2008 | Swordmaker

Strange thing. Google has buried the disputed Birth Certificate images. They are NOT in Google's image results when searching "Obama Birth Certificate" or "Barack Obama Certificate" or "Obama Certificate of Live Birth". They have lots of general pictures of Obama and pictures of generic BCs or joke ones, but not the ones being disputed. I've gone over 20 pages deep, 400 images, and NOT found any of the disputed images or the various post KOS posting created variations. That is very suspicious... someone is hiding something.

Even More Strange: I searched through 980 images out of over 18,700 of a search for Barack Obama "Birth Certificate" and 480 images of Barack Obama "Certificate of Live Birth" and did not find ONE image of the disputed Birth Certificate. On the first search, after 980 images, it came to a screen that said

"Your search - Barack Obama "Birth Certificate" - did not match any documents.

Suggestions:
Make sure all words are spelled correctly.
Try different keywords.
Try more general keywords.

Why do I suddenly feel that the old Soviet Union is alive and well in the United States? Data is being erased by not being indexed. These images were there a week ago—now they are not.

I can understand a company wanting to use the Google search engine to search their own intranet website. Paying Google for general internet searches when that's available for free, doesn't make any sense.

If anything, the Google search they are paying for is more restrictive than the free version, correct?

It only takes a week or ten days to travel by ship from Hawaii to Vancouver and sailing was probable cheaper than flying back in 1961. The probably allowed infants aboard too.

My first trip to Hawaii was on a Navy ship after a long train ride from San Diego to San Francisco. I had my 5th birthday on the trip in 1961. The return to San Diego in the summer of 1963 was via a 707 jet. In 1961 it was cheaper for the Navy to send a bunch of families on an LST vs flying. The trip was about 1 week.

The marriage certificate link was posted by a newbie. Possible set-up?

I don't think so, sounds like he was trying to help ID the CoLB document. What's really odd is the marriage certificate image wasn't shown on the thread, just the link. To get it 'up there' someone at Google had to download and copy from the link. And that's deliberate.

You certainly got the goods on San Francisco based Google hiding the BC images alright.

Barbara Ann Dunham is not "the Senator's mother" but rather his grandmother, IIRC.

Senator Obama's mother, ne Stanley Ann Dunham, died of cancer c. 1995.

Too bad Barbara Ann Dunham, the Senator’s mother, is being held incommunicado in Hawaii (I am beginning to suspect it may not be all voluntary.) She has all the answers and it looks as though Senator Obama is a very, great scam artist.

These people need to come forth and give some testimony on U-tube...

Obama's mother died in 1995. The grandmother is sequestered and NOT giving interviews...in Hawaii...

Sorry, you’re correct. I was in too much of a hurry and forgot to add “grand” in front of mother. But I do mention that she is his grandmother elsewhere.

Thanks for noting my oversite.

A retired commercial airline pilot who is my neighbor. Used to fly in and out of Hawaii for years.

I couldn’t read the marriage certificate; nor any data reflected on it. Could anyone else? Whose marriage?

OK. I wonder if that applied to all carriers?

“whose marriage?”

I have no idea, the image was too small and unclear, and I didn’t think it was significant enough to enlarge it...

I don’t know. But from what I’ve been told, airlines weren’t exactly baby friendly back then.

Who wants poo-filled dirty diapers air-borne inside a commercial aircraft during turbulent conditions?

Especially when trans-continental flights were priced at a premium as they were new. Not only the noise problem introduced by boarding an infant, but the medical implications.

I do not believe that policy would be the one that applied. Too many different people had posted their own certificates and images. The "decosta birth certificate" is also wiped clean on a Google image search.

It may be that Google doesn't want to present images of official documents that could be used for making forgeries. Maybe even that State of Hawaii or Homeland Security have asked them to do so. I do not know.

Because Google has not kept it's hands balanced left-vs-right in the past, the deletion of the images as it acts to repress the investigation by citizens for themselves of the issue is reasonably suspicious as being in motive an effective political knee-capping of Obama's opponents.

And just like the questions as do why Obama isn't clarifying the matter of his BC raise issues of his openess and honesty, so to does this event on the part of Google. Both issues could easily be resolved by public openess, by a reasoned and complete explanation that would withstand some scrutiny and due diligence.

Resolved? Maybe if you had something big to hide you wouldn't want it "resolved" either.

Exactly. Since these pics are still on their respective sites, then it was Google which scrubbed and filtered their indexes.

Sooooooo what is itty-bitty baby Barak doing 2500+ miles away from Honolulu?

How did Stanley Ann get him there so quickly that she didn't have time to learn how to diaper him in transit?

Don't tell me he never pooped on a slow boat from Hawai'i to Seattle? Vancouver?

Thanks for that firsthand info. I knew the transition from sea travel to air travel was already in progress in the eastern Pacific, although I’m not certain how far along it was by the summer of 61.
