“The only villian to the extent there is one is the appraiser and or Realtor.”

Nope the borrower for shear stupidity. The appraiser and realtor made out.

“HA! I said a while ago McCain had it in for Wall Street but no one believed me.”

It’s because he is stupid.

I don't really see anyone on FR jumping up and down to vote for McCain. What I do see are people on FR who will cast their vote for McCain to keep the Communist/Marxist/America-hater Obama out of the White House.

I have yet to encounter anyone who will be voting FOR McCain. Scores of people who will be voting AGAINST Obama, certainly.

Unfortunately, McCain will only see these votes as 100% fanatical support for HIM. (and all his reach-across-the-aisle, bipartisan, maverick, liberal ideas)

We really need a way to vote against a candidate. We can vote against a proposition or an initiative, sometimes they'll even let us vote against a judge, but politicians? You can only vote FOR politicians.

You are right about that! The only hope is to keep your elected Senators and Congressman responisble in holding McCain's feet to the fire. I am fortunate in that I have Conservative Senators and Congressman.

Pollution? It will be very interesting to see how the Commie/Greenies try to spin the thick clouds that will be visible on televised imagery from the Bejing Olympics.

Today on Fox it was described as "normal summer haze, not pollution".

*sigh*

Correct me if I'm wrong, wasn't Reagan promised a closed border for amnesty and Congress screwed him over?

Him. And us.

How many of the 9/11 terrorists entered, or tried to enter, though the southern border?

Last time we got burgled they came in though the unlocked front door.

We feel much safer now that we sometimes lock the front door.

Stupidity doesn’t make a villain. People who collude to scam the system does.

McCain: "I count myself as a conservative Republican...in the Theodore Roosevelt mold"

So I guess you consider yourself as a conservative Republican..."in the Theodore Roosevelt mold" also? Figures.
McCain should have gone to jail because of his involvement in the Keating five scandal. Go ahead and vote for your crooked gigolo.

I think you've been drinking too much of Al Gore's Kool-Aid.

I think you're being intentionally disingenuous. I'm not saying anything about believing that CO2 emissions are actually a problem. I have posted this over and over again to show people that greenhouse warming is baloney. The point I am making here is that John McCain believes in Global Warming even more strongly than Algore and he has done more than any other politician to put America under the thumb of the UN and the enviro-weenies. He is the author of the original Cap & Trade legislation McCain/Lieberman.

When was the last time you heard of a house fire caused by an overloaded electrical socket? Pretty rare isn't it; yet electrical overload was a common cause of house fires back in the 60's and 70's. Just ask any fireman. Why is that? Energy efficiency.

LOL No, that's because they used to allow aluminum house wiring. YOU need to talk to a fireman.

Many of us here remember when rivers burned and the air was so polluted that just being outside made our eyes and lungs burn. The truth is the environmental situation has VASTLY improved since then; it's an observable fact to those of us who've lived through it.

Yeah, I lived through it too. That is totally irrelevant to anything I have said.

IF emissions are higher, maybe it has something to do with the increase in population from 1.6 billion in 1900 to >6.5 billion today.

Really??? No kidding??? That's what I already said.

Except I was only talking about increases in U.S. population and emissions which is what Cap & Trade is about.

"I think that Wall Street is the villain in the things that happened in the subprime lending crisis and other areas where investigations and possible prosecution is going on"

Most of the time it's democrats making such idiotic and stupid remarks. As a matter of fact, this has to rank in the top 20 of the most stupid remarks I've ever heard a politician speak.

>>That is totally irrelevant to anything I have said.

Well, maybe what you’ve said is irrelevant to the observable truth - Global Warming kool-aid.

Cap & Trade is a facade; a lie. It’s a dialectic construct - a Luciferian conflict created for the purpose of implementing the Luciferian solution to the conflict.

It’s a wall constructed specifically for you to bash your brains out against.

Instead of doing that...

Focus on the intent of the writers of the Declaration - “To Secure These Rights” - and the wall will lose its foundation, and topple on its own.

[No, that's because they used to allow aluminum house wiring. ]

I grew up in a house that was partially wired with aluminum.

It didn't burn down.

Not saying aluminum wiring isn't dangerous; but it can be dealt with safely if you're not stupid.  The main street supply for my current home, built in 1983, is Aluminum; and I run my stick welder from a 50 amp breaker off that supply just fine.

Certainly the combination of aluminum house wiring with old vacuum tubes was a recipe for disaster; but there were fires due to electrical overload prior to aluminum wiring.    Those old vacuum tubes really sucked up the current.

[YOU need to talk to a fireman]

Actually, my uncle was a captain on the Littleton FD.

He's the big guy on the right.

His brother, my dad, was also a 1st responder... retired after 25 years with the DPD.

LOL.

Have a nice day.

Sadly my question is answered as to whether or not McCain REALLY is a fiscal conservative. What a fraud!
