U.S. Army Lt. Gavin, Cindy_True_Supporters son, was out in Olney for the last two weeks. Surviving being seriously injured by a drunk driver, being at Walter Reed for a short time, and finally finishing ROTC and graduating a lieutenant, Lt. Gavin has spent time at both the Walter Reed and in Olney FReeps before leaving for his Pacific duty station.
Gavin had a good time the last several Saturdays talking to all the Legionnaires that regularly come out to Olney. Even the Marines. And us non-service types.
[Mrs] T and I are very Marine oriented so a Marine flag at Olney has always been a common sight. Now we can proudly display the Army flag, courtesy of Cindy_True_Supporter (herself serving in the Army in the 70s) and Gavin. We have a banner with all the service emblems on it, but until now, no Army flag. While we have one 88 year old Navy Vet, he very seldom makes it out.
Week 132's roll call of our 6 Patriots included Lurker Bill, Cindy_True_Supporter, Gavin, Fraxinus, {Mrs} Trooprally, aka [Mrs] T, and myself, [Mr] T.
Week 133's roll call of our 10 Patriots included Legionnaires Glenn (WWII - USMC), Ed (WWII Era - Army), Halsey (Korea - USMC), Frank (Korea - Army), Lurker Bill, Cindy_True_Supporter, Gavin, Sensei Ern, {Mrs} Trooprally, aka [Mrs] T, and myself, [Mr] T.

The pic below are a mix of the last two weeks.
BELOW LEFT: Gavin and me under the Marine Flag. BELOW RIGHT: Proud Army Vet and Gavins proud mom, Cindy_True_Supporter.
BELOW LEFT: Frank (Army) and Halsey with new Army flag in back ground. BELOW RIGHT: Fraxinus and Lurker Bill with Army flag and the rest of the Olney patriots behind them
BELOW LEFT: Glenn keeping cool. Believe it or not, the Island of Iwo Jima was so cold one morning, he got warmed up with coffee. And he wasnt and isnt a coffee drinker. BELOW RIGHT: Ed. His hip problems require him to sit most of the time, but you can sure hear the horn of his 1980s Cadillac as he rolls around the corner.
BELOW: And our very own, Sensei Ern with Cindy_True_Supporter.
The moonbats were out for both weeks. And they still have trouble with their signs and banners.
Our passing supporters lift our spirits on these hot, muggy days, even at 10AM.

WEATHER UPDATES HERE.
[Mr] & [Mrs] T
Cindy_True_Supporter is at our place today. While she was a nurse, I’ll have to tell he about your link and song. Thanks.
Looks like rain today for Olney and our counter to the “Out of Iran” moonbats in D.C. this afternoon. At least it is cooling things down a bit.
[Mr] T
Great job and great pictures. God Bless Gavin and thanks to Cindy_True_Supporter for her service in the Army. Have a good FReep today. Hope you have a good umbrella in case of rain [Mr] T! :) Good luck in DC. Thanks for doing your part to counter those moonbats.
Pouring Rain in the early AM and pouring afternoon rain as we were leaving the parking garage, but none at Olney or D.C.
Great time at both places.
[Mr] T
Glad to hear you missed the rain in Olney and DC and had a great time. Good job!
