An old political adage says, "He who sets the debate wins the election." If the presidential election was held tomorrow, it would be hello President Barack Obama because, so far, John McCain is handing him a victory.
McCain is better than the campaign he has run so far. Most people admit that McCain is an inspirational figure -- even Obama has admitted that -- so why isn't McCain telling voters where he wants to lead them?

This “message” thing is a little overrated....but its hard for McCain to have such a “message” when you are pretty much similar to Obama on the issues (regardless of what McCain has said recently)
Except for being mostly white and supporting the Iraq war....not much diff between McCain and Obama. McCain has no message
He's merely a politician (and successful gigolo - though not nearly as good in this regard as JF'nKerry) who's still pissed that W beat him 8 years ago.
“Where is McCain’s message?”
He left it in his other jacket.
mccain’s all we got,
so enjoy!
the other choice sux.
2008 - 2000 = 8 QED.
I reread your comment and realized that I misunderstood. I thought you were talking about JF’n Kerry.
My bad.
McCain has a message, but he has to run FROM it in order to get elected.
He is strongly opposed to First Amendment rights for citizens. He wrote Campaign Finance Reform to squeeze the little guy out of political races. He continues to advocate the outlawing of 527s.
He is strongly in favor of amnesty for million of illegals, even though over 70% of the citizens are against it. Just a couple of weeks ago, we visited La Raza and promised to continue pushing Comprehensive Immigration Reform (aka, McCain-Kennedy; aka, amnesty for illegals). [Ironically, La Raza decised to endorse Obama.]
There are many other examples of McCain’s message -— that he does NOT want to voters to look at too closely.
Good points.
Still I rewrote this old song to express my view.
Im not afraid of no Osama,
Long as Ive got my own Obama,
Riding on the dashboard of my car.
I know he will save this nation,
All through proper tire inflation.
Add tune ups and I know hell take us far.
Go and get your own Obama,
Hes wiser than the Dahli Lama,
Leading us, to new hope and change.
If you don’t see his Marist leaning,
Then your diaper must need cleaning.
As for me Ill vote for John McCain.
Everybody Now!

The media hype and leftist bias causes people to think Obama will win. The polls will continue to predict an Obama win, because the polls are controlled by the media.
But when the average American goes to the polls, he will ask himself: Do I want an experienced leader, someone who will keep this country safe from terrorists, or do I want a guy who has training wheels on his bicycle? Do I want someone who understands the link between capitalism and freedom, or do I want someone who wants more government and higher taxes? At least 51% will be smart enough to choose John McCain.
That’s it !Any troll around there?
Didn’t hear McCAIN on energy policy and Drilling?
Didn’t hear McCAIN on U.N. reform,on IRAN,on pro-life policy,on economy and healthcare?
If you want to hear...listen!
Obama’s troll ,by the way, make their little work to drive some “conservatives” to stay home in November!
OUbSama is in trouble i know!
yeah, but hey!
do you really want obama redistributing your money to po’ folks?
Time to work on the education of local Congress Critters.
Where’s his message?
Let’s see, he wants to drill off the coast, he wants to keep the Bush tax cuts, he wants to allow tax credits for health care and let the health providers compete for the business instead setting up a larger Fed Bureaucracy, he wants to let the conditions on the ground dictate out troop removals from Iraq, he is for a strong national defense...
If there is no message, how do i know all about this?
His message is....I’m not Obama....nuff said
