But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.
1 Thessalonians 5:8
Knowing that You hear and answer our prayers, we rejoice in being able to fulfill Your will to pray for those in authority. As we pray for President Bush, we once again thank You for a President who acknowledges Your Lordship and in whom You have begun and are completing a good work. Let the Spirit of Wisdom and Truth rule and reign in his heart, mind and mouth. Overtake him with Your blessings that everything he sets his hand to would be a success. Give him the answers to solving our countrys challenges and choosing our involvement in the challenges of other nations. Let his adversaries be stopped by Your truth coming out of him. We ask You for his protection and for the well-being of his family members.
We give You thanks for each and every defender of freedom that You have provided us and believe You for their protectionspirit, soul and body. In Your great love, send each of them Your Word and guide the destruction away from them. May their loved ones find freedom from fear through Your grace.
We pray that Your body in this nation would rise up in Your armor and, with You as our Champion and Helper, win the lost. Let it never be said of us that our people would, receive not the love of the truth, that they might be saved." Sir, do not send them "strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: (2 Thess. 2:9-11), but let love and truth reign.
Because of Your great compassion, grace and mercy we thank You for answering our prayers in Jesus name. Amen.
Join us in believing, effectual prayer. We will accomplish much.
Just before Jesus left this earth, He instructed Simon Peter to care for the dearest object of His loveHis sheep. How could anyone care for them as Jesus cares? Only out of love for Him. There is no other way.
Three times Jesus asked Peter, Do you love Me? Peter answered, Yes, Lord; You know that I love You. Each time, Jesus answered, Feed My sheep.
Was Jesus unaware of Peters love? Of course not. His threefold question was not for Himself, but for Peter. He asked His questions to underscore the essential truth that only love for Christ would sustain Peter in the work that lay aheadthat arduous, demanding work of caring for peoples soulsperhaps the hardest work of all.
Jesus did not ask Peter if he loved His sheep, but if he loved Him. Affection for Gods people in itself will not sustain us. His sheep can be unresponsive, unappreciative, and harshly critical of our efforts to love and to serve them. In the end, we will find ourselves defeated and discouraged.
The love of Christour love for Himis the only sufficient motivation that will enable us to stay the course, to continue to feed the flock of God. Thus Jesus asks you and me, Do you love Me? Feed My sheep.
Thank you God for giving this country, President George W. Bush, protect him from evil, and be with him in all he does.
Thank you for all of our blessings of freedoms
Be with our troops and protect them from all evil. Bless their families.
Please watch over our country, and guide us in all we do. Amen.
Thanks for the Prayer, joining with all to Pray for our President!
Amen, Hiskid. God bless our President.
Lord, we thank Thee for Thy blessings, protection, and mercy. We pray for our president that you guide him, and provide him wisdom. May you provide us with leaders that fear and revere your Name. Please keep your shield of protection over those that serve to provide safety to this country. May you renew within us, as a nation, hearts that seek after and follow you. May your Light shine brightly throughout the dark crevices of this world, and may it bring hope and encouragement to believers everywhere, and open the eyes of the lost. We pray this in the Name of Lord Jesus, our precious Saviour.
I join in prayer for President Bush, the Administration, the election and our heroes standing in harm’s way!
Amen.
AMEN SISTER AND GRACE TO ALL CHRISTIAN PATRIOTS!
“Our heart shall rejoice in Him.”
- Psalm 33:21
Blessed is the fact that Christians can rejoice even in the deepest
distress; although trouble may surround them, they still sing; and, like
many birds, they sing best in their cages. The waves may roll over them,
but their souls soon rise to the surface and see the light of God’s
countenance; they have a buoyancy about them which keeps their head always
above the water, and helps them to sing amid the tempest, “God is with me
still.” To whom shall the glory be given? Oh! to Jesus-it is all by Jesus.
Trouble does not necessarily bring consolation with it to the believer,
but the presence of the Son of God in the fiery furnace with him fills his
heart with joy. He is sick and suffering, but Jesus visits him and makes
his bed for him. He is dying, and the cold chilly waters of Jordan are
gathering about him up to the neck, but Jesus puts His arms around him,
and cries, “Fear not, beloved; to die is to be blessed; the waters of
death have their fountain-head in heaven; they are not bitter, they are
sweet as nectar, for they flow from the throne of God.” As the departing
saint wades through the stream, and the billows gather around him, and
heart and flesh fail him, the same voice sounds in his ears, “Fear not; I
am with thee; be not dismayed; I am thy God.” As he nears the borders of
the infinite unknown, and is almost affrighted to enter the realm of
shades, Jesus says, “Fear not, it is your Father’s good pleasure to give
you the kingdom.
“ Thus strengthened and consoled, the believer is not afraid to die; nay,
he is even willing to depart, for since he has seen Jesus as the morning
star, he longs to gaze upon Him as the sun in his strength.
Truly, the presence of Jesus is all the heaven we desire.
He is at once
“The glory of our brightest days;
The comfort of our nights.”

SOLI DEO GLORIA!
Heartfelt Amens to your Entire Heaven-Anointed Prayer, Sister Hiskid!
'I will Praise God with my Singing!
My Thanks will be His Praise.' (Ps.69:29)
Thank you again, gentlemen for your labor to bring the Word which gives us healing. We are all grateful to you.
Amen.
Thank you for your faithfulness and all you give to this thread. We appreciate your presence. May God bless you and your family.
Amen and AMEN.
It’s a blessing to pray with you.
Amen, AM, to all your prayer. We are grateful to God for the blessing of freedoms. Lord, help us to keep them.
“May the God Who gives the power of patient endurance and Who supplies encouragement, grant you to live in such mutual harmony and such full sympathy with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus, that together you may [unanimously] with united hearts and one voice, praise and glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah)”. Romans 15:5,6
Thank you so much for your powerful agreement.
What a wonderful comfort to see the compassion many of us feel for our President. I cannot imagination how he can bear up under the hatred we hear spewed out against him every day by the liberal media, but who watches those anyway? Not I.
I believe it was by the grace of God that President Bush was elected in 1999. Which of the other ninnies would have had the courage (I’ll try to keep my language ladylike, if I must) to do what he did? The WMDs were in Iraq and they still exist somewhere; well-hidden...
Evidently, our President’s faith must be the armor that shields him from all this persecution. And he knows that Christ was persecuted also.
