I saw that in a movie once right after I graduated high school.

So they come back from a break and show it again, as a pixelated mess, by putting a camera up close to a 17” screen instead of feeding it direct.

Are you talking about the chase that just concluded in Houston? It was carried live on the local affiliates.
You can argue that the takedown by car was unintentional, since he had just fleed his wrecked car and the cop was trying to stop alongside.
Not sure why they picked him up so quickly. Won’t that give him an excuse to sue, claiming he was badly injured and that by picking him up and making him walk, the cops aggravated his injuries? Ambulance chasers are probably already salivating.
