Mitt Romney lead an effort to enact an amendment to the Massachusetts Constitution which would have banned gay marriage in the state. He also supported the federal Marriage Protection Amendment, which McCain opposed.

McCain is a disaster for conservatives everywhere and will cost Republicans the election. I will not vote for McCain under any circumstances, and that even includes the possibility that he might pick Mitt Romney as his running mate. While I supported Mitt Romney, that is not enough to ever, EVER, cause me to vote for John McCain.

Tim P. was on with the Friends and had the most dull answers to every question...he also was asked if he'd choose himself over Mitt or if he was the pick and he just said he couldn't talk about that. Crist did the same thing a few weeks ago. I got very nervous.

I think that Mitt Romney would be a great choice for John McCain’s running mate. It’s either Romney or Pawlenty, these two would be the only wise choices for the VP.

Mitt Romney is a true conservative. If someone has converted from a pro-death advocate to a pro-life advocate and wants an amendment (like we don’t already have a pro-life amendment, it’s called the 5th amendment and the 14th amendment)banning abortion, I trust ‘em.

Mitt is a great choice, happens to have been my #1 choice in the beginning because of his intelligence-business ability. Romney only lost early on because the media was making a big deal out of his being Mormon-that offshoot branch of polygamists were having their scandal and the Reverend Wright from Chicago scandal hadn't hit the air waves yet.
