Even die-hard loons know it’s over.
My brother has been jousting with his click (or is it clique?) of lunatics and two things he’s noticed:
after saddleback, their cocky tone changed...but stil talking smack...
after Palin was chosen they won’t even talk politics with him now...I mean won’t even ENGAGE...and always change the subject now to football or something and understand these were near rabid ObamaNation maniacs.

Gwen Ifill of PBS is hosting the debate. She gave respectful coverage to Palin last night on Washington Week. She’s not the gotcha type. I think she’ll be as fair a moderator as we can hope for, despite her tears of ecstasy at the coronation of Obama.

Palin trounching Botox in the debate - and there’s a very good possibility this will happen - will simply seal the election. This is the one election where the VP pick is very important. I think she is going to shine.
