One of the most notable polling results at the time of the 2006 elections was that Democrats had closed the national-security gap versus Republicans who held a long and significant advantage in that area. That was short-lived.
Unfortunately for Democrats, the gap has reopened. Democrats are regaining the reputation with voters as wimps.
Greenberg, Quinlan, Rosner has just released a survey that indicates that voters perceive Republicans once again as far and away better on national security issues than Democrats.
Forty nine percent of those surveyed thought Republicans were better on national security while 35 percent thought Democrats better. When it came to combating terrorism, 48 percent thought Republicans superior to Democrats while 33 percent gave Democrats the advantage.

Gee. Go figure.
They are whimps.
The RATs could only fool some of the people some of the time... and a limited time at that.
Gee, I’m shocked. I mean, who would have thought that a ticket topped by an arugula eating metrosexual (and for the moment I’ll assume that the various hints about his “down-low” homosexual behavior are hideously untrue) would be considered by the voters to have an elevated wimp factor?
When did they ever lose the wimp factor? Lets be honest shall we - the Democratic women in the Senate look more manly than the men!!!LOL
“Ma-ah! Sarah’s LOOKING at me *again.* Make her stop!”
That’s what I think every time I see Obama go after her.
Hopefully the Republicans in Congress are watching and learning from this woman from Alaska. In the spirit of Maggie Thatcher, Governor Palin is telling the Republicans, “Don’t go wobbly on me.” BO is an empty suit who is now playing out of his league. Governor Palin is the real deal.
Fool me once, shame on you...fool me 1,267 times, shame on me.
And is so far out of his league can not realize how far out of his league that he is.
Wimps? Only when dealing with the nation’s enemies. They are vicious attack dogs and bullies when dealing with true American patriots.
The Democrack party has been the party of wimps ever since the end of the Lyndon Johnson era. They never recovered since. They have become an Anti-American party and a selfish party made up of people who lack values and the will to succeed.
Actually, they fool some of the people all the time. But as Lincoln once said, they can’t fool all the people all the time.
GIRLY MEN
The Democrats Wimp Factor
The specter of John Kerry in 2004 is beginning to haunt the Democrats in 2008. It is the specter of wimpy campaigns past. It showed up, like Banquo's ghost, at the debate Wednesday night in Philadelphia, particularly when Hillary Clinton joined with ABC's George Stephanopoulos and Charlie Gibson to nip away at the edges of Barack Obama's patriotism. Between the questions about Obama's meager association with William Ayers, a former Weatherman, and the suspicions raised by his lack of a flag lapel pin, the likely nominee is slowly being turned into John Kerry. He is becoming, in other words, a candidate who may be mostly right about national security but who will lack the Red State street cred to carry his pointand the election.

"Run, you wussies, before I get my moose rifle!"
Where does he get off saying Sarah Palin (governor, mayor, small businessman) is unqualified to lead the country if something happens to McCain, yet B. Hussein Obama (community organizer) is qualified?
Mort Kondracke should write for the "Daily Kos" on the side.
And the idiots continue to embrace Jimmy Carter.
