Of which Stephanopolous carried the water and corrected him by saying "Christian faith".
I think this is a VERY telling freudian slip by Barrack.
A person would really have to tie themself in knots to come up with that.
I think he may be a model of what the anti-Christ will be, but no I don’t think he is.
Courage means feeling the fear, and doing it anyway.

You should watch the entire segment. Stephanapolis begins by asking him to comment about Republicans who claim he has Muslim connections. He first responds by trying to tie it directly to McCain, but GS knocks that down and keeps pushing him to admit that McCain has never accused him of Muslim connections.
That’s when he makes the “my Muslim faith” statement, GS corrects him (”You mean your Christianity,” and then Obama corrects HIM by saying the McCain has never accused him of having Muslim connections. (listen closely for it, as it’s almost under his breath.)
Some FReepers (and some conservative blogs and other websites) are making a mountain out of a molehill on this, IMO.
it just makes him look like a freaking moron. he starts in one direction, ends up almost proving the opposite point, then feigns that he is tired of 'playing games' .. only because he can't keep track of his own b.s.

I saw a repulsive post on Daily Kos while looking at the past weeks Sarah Palin attacks there. It basically said that "rumors and lies and taking things out of context is necessary if it makes even one person hesitate to pull the level for McSame."
The values inherent in Conservatism should preclude that sort of valueless deception and out-of-context-grabbing-at-straws nonsense from occurring on FR.
Without a reputation for fairness and honesty, you become an analogue of the hysterical liars on the left.
You're damn right I don't want Obama in the White House. But I am not going to become a bullshit artist in the process.
If you "win" by compromising every standard of decency and integrity you say you stand for, then what have you "won"?
The truth, warts and all, is enough to secure a win for McCain/Palin versus Obama/Biden.
Unlike the democrats, whose entire convention was all about telling everyone how they are "normal people, just like you, Mr. and Mrs. America!", Palin didn't have to say word one on that subject. It was instantly apparent. Likewise for McCain. Their values are in how they have lived, as imperfect people whose character is strengthened by their faith.
If we shriek and froth at every gaffe, every out of context possibility, we end up at the same point as the valueless win at all costs left ... without values, character, or faith.
No it's not...get a grip. The MSM is going to try to pin this mess-up on someone else. Not surprising. It won't work tho...it's not completely fixable. This is going to leave a mark and Obama did it to himself.

The fact that there is a visual edit right at the same point that if one was misquoting him, there would be an audio edit together is 100% suspicious.
This would never be admissible in court or in a deposition.
Show me a single camera view with the audio this way and I will believe it.
We don’t need to go down deceitful paths, that is the way of the evil one.
